I have dogs with think dark nails and I’m able to trim their nails with these with no problem

Absolutely best purchase ever!! Our dog doesn’t even flinch when using the clippers, however due to her being scared of noises, she doesn’t care for the grinder. With that said the grinder isn’t that loud, it’s the normal loudness of that of a typical hair clippers would make.

The clippers are not sharp and are pretty tough to get through the mail, especially if your dog doesn’t sit still the whole time. The cut takes twice as long than my old clippers.The dremel is pretty good and quiet. My dog got accustomed to them pretty quick. The lights are a good idea but poorly executed

I have 4 dogs and some are scared of clipping while others are terrified of the grinding. It is quiet, they just don’t like how long it takes. I absolutely love the light so you always know where their quick is…even all black nails. I do wish the clippers were a little sharper but it does the job.

Very simple to use

I purchased this for the "ultra bright led light", and for the rechargeable feature to avoid replacing batteries. They put the light behind a sizeable nail guard that keeps you from trimming the nails too short, which gets in the way and renders the light completely useless due to the placement. You can't move the guard out of the way enough to use the light. The nail grinder is nice, but again, the light is above it, so it does nothing to assist with seeing the quick. Also, there is zero visibility of the quick with this light on black nails (my dog has both clear and black), it's simply like trying to see through a rock. The clipper is sharp but makes a very loud noise that made my older, easy to clip dog jump and pull away, since it's plastic hitting against plastic. Not helpful if you can only trim one nail.

This was the first time since owning him that I didn't have to seek a professional to get his nails trimmed! I am amazed at how easy they were to grip and how comfortable my dog was. If your dog doesn't like having his nails trimmed then this is a product worth trying!!

Not only are these super convenient keeping the clippers and the grinder in one tool, but the light on each end makes it so easy to see my dogs dark colored nails while I work.
