Rachael Ray Stoneware 4.25-Quart Casseroval Covered Baking Dish, Green

I admit it, I've wanted these for years! But I also admit, this girl will never shell out $50 for a piece of pottery that I have to WASH. So, I waited and found this marked down on Amazon--the SAME ONE FOR $50 at a big box store starting with a W. Well, I bought it and a blue one as well and we use them all the time!! Pretty much every day, either for cooking or serving. Cooked pasta in one, cooked sauce in the other, and they look great AND keep the food warm, unlike metal pans. Also have used them for serving salads and stuffing and any side dish you want to make in quantity. They are not as huge as you think, but are deep. The handles are AWESOME, stay cooler and you just need to adjust your oven rack before preheating to make sure your new piece will fit properly, due to the handles being high. Perfect, couldn't be happier.

I debated awhile with this purchase, other stoneware I haven't loved. I hate the fact that some (like Pampered Chef) do not allow you to clean them with soap, it just turns me off. Also, the sound of the utensils scraping the stone bothers me. The reason I took a chance with this is the price was right and it had a lifetime guarantee so I felt I could not go wrong.I am so glad I did, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this casserole. It is glazed so I can clean it with soap. And speaking of cleaning it is the easiest to clean pot, pan, or baking dish I have ever owned, even if I don't soak it first. It is a great size, not too big for oven and large enough to make a large family dinner. It cooks so wonderfully things I've cooked for 15+ years my family asks me if I changed to recipe because it tastes so good. Cooks evenly and perfectly. Another user wrote a review about how leftovers dried up. That is easily remedied by transferring leftovers to a sealed container. If you need to store anything in fridge to heat later, put cling wrap (another great invention) on top and then cover with lid.This will be my go to gift for wedding showers from now on.

This is a fairly snazzy stoneware product. So far we have found it easy to use and to clean. It is heavier than I expected. The casserole was made in China (shame on Rachael Ray for that decision).

I needed one and it was a good price when I bought it. It's nice a deep and I like the fact that it has a cover. It is stoneware though and it is somewhat heavy.

I love the Rachel Ray products but could never quite treat myself to any because couldn't justify the price. I have looked at this particular piece in stores many times during the last year. Even had it in my cart once and then put it back. I saw it on Amazon for an amazing price and couldn't pass it up. I love it. Used it on Christmas in the stove and in the microwave. It worked great in both and kept things hot for a long time.

This is a fantastic pan! The enamel coating makes it very easy to clean. The handles are terrific, the sides are nice and deep, and the lid makes it great for taking food to parties. I also love the beautiful purple color!

It is cute and I love the color...but the lid did not fit AT ALL. It was both too long and too narrow.very frustrating.

The product was broken, badly damaged at one end, the handle and the entire area surrounding the handle. It seemingly was packed broken as we were curious if the shards could be placed together, like a puzzle, because it seemed there weren't enough shards to do so.Sure enough, there were missing shards so the item had to be packed broken. Shame on somebody I would think at Rachael Ray's facility.
