Easy to install and cap has a nice unlocking mechanism. Much easier to use than the screw on cap that I had previously, especially when the tank is hot and under pressure. Survived a pretty good low-side and flip without any problems. Only issue was a missing retention screw on the bottom of the cap but easy to replace. Paint appears to be pretty resistant to fuel.

Doesn’t fit description is wrong don’t waste your money

Great upgrade. I was tired of using the key to get gas. This made it easy and it looks cool, too! Was put on a ‘08 Kawasaki Versys 650. For perfect.

Fit perfect on the motorcycle, nice color and easy to instal. 2 weeks on the bike and the gas cap doesn’t pop up when unlocked. Disappointed. Seller tells me “it’s user install error and to adjust the tiny stew on bottom.” Did that…Here I am months later and the only way for me to remove the gas cap is with pliers after I struggle to turn it. the gas capdoes NOT go up or down (whether it is on or off the bike). horrible product and seller puts the blame on the buyer. Stay Away!! defective productive and told its my fault.

This is a really nice product. I was very impressed with the build quality. Good machining, good anodizing, all necessary vent holes well drilled and good gaskets to seal everything. The locking mechanism operates smoothly and opens and closes perfectly. I think about the only thing I would like to see is some kind of chain or something so you can't drop the cap when you open it. Besides that, its perfect.

DOES NOT FIT KAWASAKI NINJA ZX6R. Description is completely off don’t want your time or money.

I've bought at least a half-dozen non-locking gas caps over the years and this one is hands-down the heaviest and most substantial. It's also the most expensive by a good margin.Note that the Kawasakis this fits have a slightly different gas tank design than other brands. This will only fit the gas tanks were the filler hole is not exactly centered over the gas cap opening. If you look at the photos you'll see that the opening is not in the center of the gas cap cover (as it is on Suzukis among other brands). Only buy this if the bike you have is one of the ones listed or it won't fit. It's not fair to knock this because it won't fit a bike it never said it would fit as one reviewer did.You want to put a small amount of lubricant on the part that comes off to assure easy and smooth opening. If you don't it can get stuck and it's hard to exert enough force on it to turn it.Overall it's a sturdy and good looking design. It would be better if it didn't say "Arashi" on it as no one cares about that. I filled that in with black marker to make it stand out less.
