The original one I ordered had got lost in the post so it didn't arrive by the date it should have. Once I contacted them, they sent me another one express delivery and I received it in 2 days. The compost caddy is good quality and I put recycling food waste bags inside it, but there is no odour at all. It is just about the right size and fits nicely in a corner of my Kitchen and it looks good as well. I would recommend this product. It looks so much nicer that the green plastic container left by the local council. I would use this supplier again.

Bought to go with a stainless steel composting pail we use for the Council food waste collection as we've started composting so need a separate bin for uncooked vegetable waste. Very impressed with the quality and price (cheaper than our existing pail, bought from a department store). Matt black paint finish inside and out is much more practical than shiny stainless steel. .For the record, we've never replaced our old pail's filter - the filter washes well and there really is no smell (unless, perhaps, you left fish in it for a week in a heatwave!). We always use a caddy liner in the old one (for the Council food waste) with a little bit of kitchen roll in the bottom for any moisture. Simply wipe the inside and out with anti-bac and wash every couple of months. Simply line the new pail with newspaper - it doesn't get 'sweaty' as it fills up quickly with veg trimmings so we empty it every other day or so.WAY better looking than anything the Council will give you (and less smelly). Keep on the floor - next to the reusable carrier for paper, glass, plastic and metal recycling!

This is a great compost bin. It isn't the cheapest but I bought a cheaper one before and it fell apart.My only small criticism of the bin so far is that the handle, in my opinion is slightly too thin for the design - in my mind it could do with looking chunkier!However it does the job, it looks good enough to leave on the work top if you want to, it doesn't smell and it holds a fair amount so I don't have to walk to the compost bin outside every day.I'd recommend it to others.

It's early days, but so far I love this. I don't know why the listing shows a square filter as well but the bin came with the round filter fitted and no square one so maybe this is used under the round one - time will tell; and if there isn't one I'm not going to worry about it.It's 4.5 Litre and standard bags are 6 litre so they overlap the sides, but that's a minor point and the bin does the job well. It's very well made, looks great and matches our black granite worktops so - yes I'm very happy.

Really nice bin, keeps odors/flies away. Also looks cute. Easy to empty, easy to clean. Filters can be washed and reused.

It's good quality build, large enough to hold a few days' worth of rubbish, but due to the design it can sit on your work surface next to the coffee tin and blend in. Importantly, the combination of the build and the filters means, that if you forget to take the bin out, you won't stink up the place. You can have a full on mold invasion happening inside the bin and you'd be none the wiser, until you're emptying it! When you do, it's very easy to wash with dish soap and filters can be simply pulled out to replace. Overall very happy with this little bin.

Good to start with and looks smart but in the long run, disappointing. It will rust eventually, the knob is poor quality and breaks off. The filters are not easy to replace when they go mouldy and the lid not easy to clean. Bags hang over the top spoiling the look and snag in the handle fixtures.

A very aesthetic product that looks well on my black kitchen worktop.My only grouse is that there is no internal bucket/container that can be used to avoid the compost bag having to be fitted over the edge.Otherwise a good buy.
