Garmin GA-38 gives stronger return
The Sundely was to replace an old Garmin GA-28 external antenna whose case and wire were cracked. The GA-28 still worked, but its signal to my existing Garmin 545 chartplotter was erratic. The Sundely signal turned out to be steady, but weaker than that of the old GA-28. Sundely very kindly accepted return of its product, and I bought a GA-38, which is Garmin's current replacement for the GA-28. The good news is that the GA-38 outperforms both the GA-28 and the Sundely. The bad news is that the GA-38 cost more than twice as much as the Sundely. Call me picky. The Sundely worked, and it was a significant improvement over no external antenna at all.
