Purchased this case for my S8 because I wanted to have something classy, good looking and durable. I had a plastic case from Samsung which I was very happy with, but it didnt really flash. Thankfully I found this Alcantara case, which is the perfect size, not too thick, and gives amazing grip to the phone.Never had a case where I was this confident that it wont slip out of my hands. Only downside is, that it will get wear when wet - so maybe keep a towel for your hands handy and keep it away from wet tables at bars etc.Build quality is superb, excellent feel and no real downsides!

Thus case is quite expensive but it really does look and feel lovely. Lots if people comment on the case and it has worked well. My kids and I have dropped the phone multiple times onto hard surfaces by accident and the phone has survived every time without so much as a mark. The case is also fairly thin so doesn't cause any issues with fitting in your pocket and the Alcantara helps with gripping the phone!The pictures attached to the review show the case after 13 months of hard use. The material is starting to show wear in the bottom corners of the case but this is only cosmetic. I will purchase the same case again soon as I've been really happy with my purchase.

Pricier option but worth every penny! Ever just get tired of those generic plastic/gel cases? Well this is the case for you. I can verify this is a genuine Samsung product (not a cheap made rip off) it fits the phone perfectly as you would expect and really compliments it well. Very ergonomic and comfortable. Definitely a case for those wanting a premium look and feel.

Bought this case mainly for the material and the looks. However have dropped my phone multiple times and it has saved me from a broken screen on all occasions. When I dropped it on concrete it did pull up a bit of the alcantara on the corner but it is hardly noticeable.Great case.

I normally just buy the cheapest case available as I generally like to keep my phones 'naked'. After a couple of bad experiences I decided to pay a little more for real quality and I'm really glad I did this time. The case is fantastic, the suede-like finish feels really nice in the hand. Time will tell whether the finish will stay so nice after a few months of regular use. Also, a great experience with the seller. Dispatch was prompt and the package arrived ahead of the expected date

This cover fits very snug on the phone and looks good. However I find that because it is a suede-like material, it needs cleaning if you happen to put the phone down on a wet spot in a bar for example. It is not wipe clean.With regards to protection, it is very poor in my honest opinion. my whole screen smashed after dropping the phone from my jean pocket to the floor. This is in part due to the fragility of the screen I guess but for the price of this cover I'd expect more than just a nice feel.Wouldn't buy another.

This cover is super comfortable when holding it and it feels like a premium product which is always good. However the only set back is that the Samsung galaxy s8 is water-resistant and the case is not but that is no major problem you just have to be a little careful.

Did not realize this was a imitation suede look. Not good. I maybe never read the description
