Thule 697400 T-Track Adapter, Aluminum

Sooo. I bought these to fit my Exodus (Halfords) 470l box to my Whispbar roof bars. The Exodus had the Halfords quick grip mechanism which appears identical to the Thule system. The Whispbar has a 20mm track. Whilst I had been able to just about get away with using the grip system on the bars, the fit wasn't great (Whispbars are very wide - too wide for the grip mechanism by 5mm in theory) and damage to the bars, and grip mechanism looked possible. I googled all over looking to see if this kit would work for me and couldn't find an answer. So I bit the bullet and bought them.Well it did! Swapping out the quick grip was a 2 minute job and fitting these replacements just as easy. Seems to hold extremely well. First long journey coming up. If there's no update, assume all is well!Update post long journey: They worked a treat. Held rock solid. However, in hindsight my elation ought to be tempered by the fact these were thirty quid - a lot for what is 4 bolts and some tough plastic.

Needed some t-track adapters to fit my Halfords roof box to my Thule Evo wingbars.The box is designed for U bolts, but these easily converted it to t-track in a matter of minutes.The ends are 20x27mm for reference.I didn’t necessarily need the large plastic parts that come with the kit as I believe these are for specific Thule boxes however I used them anyway to help spread the load within the inside of the box, but it also helps prevent screwing the nuts on too far.Didn’t need to drill any larger holes in my box to accommodate these.If you’ve got some other t-track accessories, you’ll realise these bolts are substantially larger in diameter which is reassuring.Overall, great bit of kit and perfect for what I needed, although slightly pricey.

They fit perfectly on my roof box but quite pricey for what they are. Unfortunately there is no alternative to getting the genuine Thule item and these were the cheapest ones I could find. Using these fittings allows the box to be placed anywhere and allowed me to fit a half width box and two bike racks on the roof of my wife's Picasso.

For those unsure how to replace the existing Power Click modules, this image of the remaining strip may help. a small screwdriver, pushed against the small plastic latching clip releases the module and allows you to slide the module out of it’s slot. Once I’d worked this out on my Halfords Exodus/Advanced 470L roof box, the rest was straight forward.Thanks to those previous reviews advising it works, great product (yes it’s £32, but if you want you use the T-Track system, this is the way to go).highly recommended

I have a old Halfords top box, needed these so I could put the box on my aero bars. Did the job great with a slight modification. Drill hole slightly bigger.

Perfect for various roof boxes for the t track. Really good.

Tengo barras aero con raíl y cofre también cruz. En Cruz no me daban solución para enganchar con sistema de tornillo en T.Lo he probado y copla a la perfección. Ahora lo monto en 2 minutos.

Gestern bestellt heute angekommen und montiert.dachbox ist thule pacific 700 mit fast grip,dachträger orginal ford galaxy.fast grip greift ford dachträger nicht richtig ein.deshalb das adapter gekauft. dachbox sitz bombenfest.Ende diesen monat fahre ich Urlaub.danach gibt es update ob es gut istUpdate 22.09.2022Hin und zurück 7000 km gefahren keine Probleme gehabt. Empfehle den Adapter weiter
