I call it Hal. It's good.
Hal takes care of my floors and clears up after my 3 house rabbits. Does a good job with fur, always gets far more than I could possibly imagine. Has no problem on my floors which are a mix of hardwood, very short and short/medium pile carpets, and can move between them easily. However, tends to shunt rabbit droppings around instead of get them up (maybe only manages 50%) so I still need to sweep or hoover. Named Hal because he tries to kill me - produces a sizeable spark every time I plug him in.

Good product
Good product, cleans well. Although I do have very "busy" living room/dining room etc with awkward corners & odd shaped areas in the bungalow, it can get stuck in some places & require a little help out of its scrape ! However it did find its way back to the docking station even though I placed the dock in another room, behind a door & under a small glass table just wider than itself !! In conclusion it did clean the whole large room fairly thick carpet completely & efficiently! Well done ! 5 stars !

Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews
Why has this cleaner got so many 5 star reviews? Its because they put a card in the package that it arrives in offering a free gift if you give them a 5 star review on Amazon and send them a copy. I hate that. I chose this partly because of the number of 5 star reviews. That's why it got 1 star from me, I feel I was conned into buying this cleaner. So what is it really like? The robot itself is OK. Not a ringing endorsement I know. It is good at dealing with dirt and dog hairs on hard floors - both wood and tiles. We have a pug and a springer spaniel and are deluged with hair at this time of year. The bin for the dust and hair is too small, in our house, it lasts about 30 mins before it needs emptying. I can't just leave it on when I go to work, it would only do 1/3rd of the job before it stopped because the bin was full. It doesn't even begin to clean rugs. We've got some down on our wood floor and it doesn't pick up the hair at all. It also picks up fringes on the rugs and that stops it and doesn't do the rugs a lot of good. It doesn't cope with flexes, gets stuck under our dresser - it's just the wrong height. can't hoover under dinning chairs - OK if you can put them on the table - and gets stuck in some courners. If you have only hard floors you want to clean, no flexes, no chairs, and no furniture that is 3.5" of the ground, a small house or only one small dog that doesn't shed a lot, it is a 5 star product. Otherwise, it does reduce the burden of cleaning but needs quite a lot of attention and is no replacement for a normal hoover.

Zig zag cleaning doesn't work... Spins in cirles in auto.
I wanted a robot vacuum that did not follow a random path and thought that a more systematic clean would be achieved with the zig zag programme. Unfortunately it did not work as the robot just passed up and down the same path continuously. Even in auto mode the robot appeared to enter into "spot" mode going around in very tight circles.. This happened very close to the base station and the robot kept hitting the base station at one point almost pulling the dc cable out. I had to continuously redirect the robot manually which clearly defeats the purpose.. On the plus side when I did that it did pickup quite a lot of dust. The mop seemed a little ineffective too. Perhaps I got a dud but had to return in the end.

Not recommendable!
The media could not be loaded. This is too clever for it's own good. It constantly gets stuck for minutes in spaces you wouldn't think it could get stuck in, and certainly wouldn't be if it just moved in a random pattern, rather than trying to endlessly keep 'mapping' the room it's working in. If it then at least remembered the mapping it already did the day before (or just 5 minutes before), but it doesn't. It also returns to the docking station long long looooong time before the battery is even near low on charge, leaving up to half the room undone, and we are talking about a very regular room of less than 25sqm with no special obstacles. You can of course manually force it out again, but the idea with a vacuum with a scheduler is that it does the job, the whole job, on schedule. It does have a good point too as it is rather quiet, nothing like my old noisy Roomba 555/560, but that was also 5 years or more. But until it finally gave up, it was a much more efficient machine than this. It can be programmed and individually days chosen, but it seems the time has to be the same on all days. My old Roomba beat it on this too. Also be aware that it comes with a remote, and you can't program it by any other means, so the day the remote breaks or is lost, so is the scheduling feature, it you want to change it or it has been without power and needs to be reprogrammed. Also, you cannot operate the time or programming when it is in the docking station, so you have to get it out first, before that can be done, and then when it returns to the docking station, it starts charging, even though it has been out for 2 minutes only and not done any work. And it remains charging for at least 30 minutes. So if you want to just test how to program etc. You have to set schedule an hour in the future, because it will not leave the docking station on its own before the display shows 'FULL'. Stupid.Seems the programming has been done by someone who probably knows how to program, but doesn¨t know anything about what we might do with the it. It seriously needs some real life testing, as this looks to be an alfa release of the software. The company behind is also using questionable methods to get good reviews, see the photos. Despite their attempt, I will definitely not give them a 5 star review, but I will take this up with Amazon.UPDATE 16/05/2018After sending them the review and asking for the free gift, even with a 2 start review, they returned to me with a number of spare brushes and filters and comments that indicated this would solve my problem. I was a bit surprised, as it didn't sound like it being a free gift, but on the other hand didn't address the problems. Anyway, I explained the issues I see with the robot and they then refunded me the full price without the need to return the vacuum or accessories. So as a company they are behaving decently, although I do think it is bad taste to promote 5 star reviews with a promise of a gift. As this is a product review, I still cannot give them more than two stars, but in the in seller review I will do separately, I will be more generous.Update 15/6/2018Added a video that documents just how poorly programmed this device is. Here specifically showing it's extremely poor sense of navigation to the docking station.Update 21/10/2018As stated above, I got a full refund without the need to return it. So I had this poorly working robot for free and I decided to see if it could do the job after all. So I had it scheduled to run every day, and every night when I went to bed, I started it manually too, so it has run twice a day for the last 6 months. And although it has removed some dust and dirt, it still hasn't been up to anything near as good as my old roomba was, but at least somewhat acceptable. But then over the last weekend it developed a turbine-like loud noise when it ran, and that made me finally give up on this and instead get myself a new robot of a different make. I know that twice a day is a lot, but only lasting 6 month is poor anyway. My new robot is Eufy [BoostIQ RoboVac 30C, Wi-Fi, Upgraded, Super-Thin, 1500Pa Strong Suction, 13 ft Boundary Strips Included, Quiet, Self-Charging Robotic Vacuum Cleaner, Cleans Hard Floors to Medium-Pile Carpets and I can already report that this is a much - MUCH - better choice. A full review will soon be posted on that.

It's probably amazing for tiled and wood floors
It's probably amazing for tiled and wood floors, works less good on carpets. I had a thread on a carpet and it managed to clean it only after three days. That being said, if you use it daily it does a good job, just needs more attempts to do it right.

The best product for its value
I wasn't really sure at the beginning when I saw this robot hoover, as the price was dropped from 500 to 100 pounds, but I got a jackpot! I bought it the first time, but I liked that discount and the number of positive reviews. This robot cleans perfectly my 1 bedroom flat, I see that there is less dust even on the surfaces. I found it quite useful in the way of saving my time, as currently I am working on two jobs, and don't have that much power and time for cleaning. It is my lifesaver!
