We were having trouble with drips coming under the coffee machine. This mat is great - highly recommend. It also looks nice, and we keep the coffee pods and sugar all together on the mat.

I no longer have to fight with my heavy espresso machine moving around on the table while securing and removing the portafilter. Instead of being on a loose towel to handle any moisture issues, now it sits on my perfectly sized, attractive, rubber-backed absorbent mat. It's perfect! Espresso machine stays put! And my coffee area looks so much neater. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 star rating is that I really haven't spilled anything on it yet!
