As others have said, when you get it set up, it works a treat. As a stand-alone device it is simple to connect and get working, however the Wifi setup is unnecessary complicated. The first time you set it up you flail around the app, and it’s only when you realise that the greyed out configure button can actually be pressed that you can then set the device up, the obviously don’t conform to standard app design.The device is also very deep so needs a deep back box, black ones can be purchased from EBay for about £6.00 for 4.The a App has very limited functionality, basically just allowing you to check and set the temperature and switch between manual and auto however it does work outside the house and as I only wanted to be able to set it whilst out it does this perfectly.

Really pleased with this item, i just now leave the boiler control panel on constant on and im using this to program what temperature I want at certain times of the day. Had a bit of trouble working out the wiring but I can tell you that Yellow (switched live) to 1, Red (live) to 4 and Blue (N) to 3. My advice is set up the WiFi 1st and then program every thing else via your phone/tablet..looks great, works great and brilliant value, would recommend.

Be careful as some of the reviews I have seen for this product are actually for a different product. It's smart looking product and works well once set up. But...1. There's no exit for a cable (an electric towel rail for example requires an external cable), so check you have another route if the device is not cabled from the rear2. It requires a 25mm back box, so that's going to look ugly if you have to surface mount it3. There's no earth connection4. The instructions are hopeless, completely meaningless5. Use the Beok Home app as suggested by others. Once you get the wifi working, it's easier to program it that way than manually using the touch screen (which is still useful and easy to use when you want to override the program and to monitor what it's doing)6. Not impressed, basic functions seem to work but manual is terrible English. WiFi is a total failure never got device to even enable WiFi features in spite of following instructions, resetting my WiFi to 2.5 frequencies. Device got very hot even when there was no load to the heater. No earth connection even though it has a metal casing. I don’t think this device would pass eu electrical certification. Returning as I think it is a fire and shock risk.

Works a treat as a thermostat for Central heating. Replaced an old dial. I had positive, neutral and switch wire and wired up a treat. I've left the main time clock in the cupboard upstairs on permanent and just using this on manual mode at the desired temp. We have the heating on 24/7 throughout winter. Original time clock will still work too on timed if needed. Overall a great product. Easy to use, wireless setup very complicated but once setup it works a treat.

I purchased this thermostat to control my underfloor heating remotely. The thermostat works fine manually but the Wi-fi will not pair with the app on my iPhone or BT router. I have read many of the reviews, I turned off the 5GHz and removed the - from by BT router name. I turned off the data on my iPhone before trying to pair as recommended. But still it will not pair. Even more disappointing is that the Floureon customer service team have not answered my email requesting help. Because of this I cannot recommend anyone to purchase this device. Very disappointing.

Good God!!!! What a NIGHTMARE that was 😬. Eventually, after 2 days of trying, I got both my thermostats to connect!!!! The key issues to check...1) Ensure you connect your phone to a local 2.4Ghz wireless network - this is the same network that will automatically get picked up in the app 2) The big breakthrough...I ordered a replacement unit which came with slightly different instructions...you must ENSURE that the SSID does NOT contain ANY special characters....no dashes, no underscores, no spaces - just regular letters and numbers - can be a mix of upper and lower case. I was using a WiFi extender which had a compliant name/SSID, but it was linking to my BT Home Hub 6 whose name contained a “-“ 😬😬😬😬😬. I simply had to rename my BT Hub, reconnect my WiFi extender and then the magic happened!!! I wanted to share this with you guys to save you masses of frustration. 🙂

This is a great item, but only once you get the hang of how to get it to work! For that read the reviews - the answers are in there somewhere. Basically you need to connect it to WiFi and use the app (also not easy at first). The instructions are terrible and just plain wrong in some instances. However percevere and the rewards will soon dawn. Try pressing the screen in the opposite order to the instructions and also press and hold if that doesn't work (you need to do this for the Wifi connection). On the seemingly limited use app, once you realise that everything can be expanded by pressing and holding all the symbols, including the timeline, it becomes a very useful bit of kit. Have fun learning :). I got 4 or my holiday lets and they can all be managed from the same app - even when I'm not there.
