Jack Wolfskin Northern Star Mens Softshell Jacket

Bought as a Christmas present in November 2017 for £65 with free P&P. I read a few reviews from different places which stated that this item was slightly large fitting so I ordered a medium. This only just fits my teenage son 38/40" chest and I would say the sizes are not on the large size but are exactly as stated. I bought this to replace my sons CMP softshell, but I prefer the old CMP compared to this jacket. The jacket fits but is a lighter weight jacket compared to the CMP; so I am keeping for autumn/spring use but I wish I had ordered another CMP jacket. On reflection this jacket is a much better specification than the CMP, so I am happy as is my son. This jacket is now two years old and is as good as new. Size medium seems the right size for average male adult. Can’t fault as my son uses all the time.

Bought this seeing as the colour is great and I needed a light weight jacket just for general pursuing around in and it works grey doesn't give me any bother and keeps me at a good temperature through the day. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone willing to spend the same amount on any other jacket seeing as it is a reasonable price and has a lot of useful features such a good toggles and bottom toggles with a lot of useful pockets. Very happy with my purchase will definitely buy another colour sooner

Excellent quality softshell, great for those days when a "big" coat isn't necessary. Not cheap but it is going to get a lot of wear in spring and autumn. Very happy with the colour (Deep Sea Blue).

Perfect fit and great value.

Very good coat! survived being worn a whole day with me using a chipper and kept me mostly dry (appart from sleaves) ina monsoon.
