Awesome boots …11 out of 10.
So comfortable. Warm, waterproof, and breathable. Great quality. Great fit. I have wide feet and have never found any safety footwear as snug as Solid Gear. The vibram sole grips in all conditions. The BOA system may seem like a gimmick, but it is so nice to be able to adjust the snugness quickly and one handed, eg. having a tight fit for ladder work, and quickly adjusting to a more relaxed fit when driving or sitting, without having to bother with laces. The price may be off-putting, but the last pair lasted over 6 years of hard daily use. All in all the best safety boots I have ever owned. Can’t recommend highly enough. I will never waste money on any other brands.

Customer service very poor when you have problems
Very good and comfortable work boots, I've had several pairs, be cautious if you buy due to poor customer service. When I had a problem pair they squeaked every time I moved from new, I was told to wear them in!. I feel this was not taken seriously, Solid gear insisted on having the boots back twice to inspect, leaving me to used other footwear for over a week at a time. They eventually issued a new pair after months of complaining, this is still not good enough for a very expensive product, in my view. Solid Gear please get this sorted.

Good while they last but don’t buy them
These really are lovely bootsProbably the comfiest boots I’ve ever had.I won’t be getting another pair though.The pictures show them after 8 months use as a plumber/heating engineer.That is just not good enough for £160Wrote to complain to snickers about them and never got a reply.

Save your money, for the price these boots are poor. They are waterproof and they are comfortable, but the stiching is not good and they seem to be made of soft not durable material, iv only had them 2 months and they look knackard, and are splitting round the sole, seems to be the general way snickers and associated names are going. They used to be one of the best but it's just all way overpriced junk now.2 weeks after this review, boots just leak like a sieve. Snickers want me send the boots into them and wait for a response which means I then need to buy new boots to go to work. Why I can't take them to an authorised dealer locally is beyond me.Wish I could make the review no star to be honest.
