Why did you pick this product vs others?:Our brains are wired to wake up to the sun rising (blue light), so any even artificial light where we're sleeping will cause a corresponding drop in melatonin production and interfere with our ability to get good restorative sleep. (You feel like you're sleeping right on the surface and are still tired when you wake up.)But red light contains no blue light, and does not cause this effect. Amber lights are good too, but to a lesser extent. But red light is the best for this. And I can attest that these nightlights are giving off a true red light. My eyes would know.Speaking of, if you have any sensitivity to light like I do, red light does not change your vision so it does not cause your muscles to contract or expand. So, no sensitivity or pain. This is why if you've ever gone out to view the stars with a group at an "uninterrupted night-sky event," you'll see them using red lights. Even a momentary flash of anything containing blue light (like an accidental headlight flash, oops) causes us to lose our full night vision for like half an hour.So, red light lets us see in the dark, without changing our vision. It's kind of magic. And I've had several of these in use for the past couple years and they've been great. (They only come on when the room's dark.) I use them in the cats' room too since it's a myth that cats have perfect sight in the dark. Their night vision is just better than ours, but they have things to do in there in the dark, ahem, and this makes sure they can see fine without keeping them awake. Cats need their sleep! And so do we. PS: These nightlights are also fully adjustable, and I think they are a nice design and an elevated look from most others. Why not have some classy nightlights in our homes…? Might as well.

Unlike the night lights I have purchased in the past, this item's light output points up and down and perfect for the bedroom, hallway, stairs etc.-- we can adjust the light intensity higher than I could with ordinary plug in night lights that spread too broad a beam--ordinary night lights can be annoying in bed. These night lights are constructed to direct light output up and down and NOT horizontally at head level when in bed -- This is an OUTSTANDING DESIGN & ATTRACTIVE--one of my best buys! Love them!

Bright and adjustable if you don’t want it that bright the setting works well I really like these lights. It stepped up my game of being able to get around my house at night without having to turn on the lights. I actually end up ordering a few more sets.

I love the aesthetic of these items! It is super lightweight, and the brightness can be adjusted. It is the perfect size because another outlet can be used underneath it! The black goes with the color of my home and it gives my home a soft comfort glow at night. However, I don’t think it works super well, it randomly turns on and off and I have to touch the brightness button for it to turn on at all. I have it in well lit areas as it was recommended, but I still randomly have trouble with some of the lights working like it should!It is nice when it actually works!(Off in photo because it’s daytime)

A very elevated night-light - these look great in a hallway and love that you can adjust the brightness settings! They do stick out a little ways from the wall but very happy with the functionality and the look!

These look great and we have them all over our house. The light is low and warm. They've lasted months so far and they're on every night, all night long. I'd love to get even more for the office! I hate overhead light.
