I have short cropped dark hair. I wanted a new colour 7.44 at hairdressers, but may have to do it myself, is this any good?

Its a beautiful rich copper colour, however if your hair is coloured dark with hair dye this won't lift it lighter as dye won't lift dye, you'll need to have the colour cleansed out. If it's your natural hair colour then you might get a bit of a lift (using 30vol or 20vol peroxide) and a coppery tone. It really depends on how dark your hair is and whether it's got colour on it or not.

Is this permanent dye? Or semi?.

This is permanent hair color which you need to mix with developer. Developer is not not included with this. You need to buy it separately. Thank you.
