Canon PIXMA iP110 Inkjet Printer with Battery

After many years of reliable service, my Canon Pixma iP90 suddenly ceased to work, so I naturally decided to buy a portable Canon replacement.This led me to the Pixma iP110.Although it is larger than my old printer, the iP110 is still compact, and more sophisticated in having Wi-Fi connectivity.The included 'Quick Step' guide could be improved upon in terms of clarity, so I suggest that one utilises the videos posted on You Tube by Canon USA to install the Ink Cartridge Holder, Ink cartridges, and carry out the Print Head Alignment Procedure.Canon UK have posted, on the 22 March 2016, a full Windows Download which installed the iP110 on my computer without any problems.There is no USB connection cable supplied with the iP110, but, fortunately, that supplied by Canon with my previous printer fitted.The build quality of the iP110 appears to be very good, and it is relatively quiet in operation.Print quality on documents is excellent.

Local device to printer straightforward but printer connection to local lan can be erratic. Print quality very good and the battery feature is wonderful. Portable printing delivered.

Its an excellent printer with good results in both black & white and colour. Impressively quick to print as well. As a photographer I needed a portable printing solution and the IP110 has filled this gap very well.Four stars not five because this printer is not simple to set up. It took a good hour to get it printing through my home network and a lot of trial and error to get it printing wirelessly Mac to Printer. Once this was set up I managed to print from my iPad but you have to switch to the printer's Wi-Fi. Bluetooth would have been a better option really.As probable printers go this is the best I've seen, you just need to be a little Tech savvy to get it working but when you do its excellent.

Arrived very quick, barely 2 days after placing order - was impressed! Communication with Seller also very prompt. Easy to set up and connected to WiFi pretty much immediately once I figured out how to do it. The installation CD did not work on my Mac but it did say "Windows" on the CD so was not a surprise - easily resolved by downloading driver on-line from Canon. Only issue is that it is not as small as I had thought and does not fit into my laptop bag (considering I have a 13" slim MacAir) - really my own fault for not double checking the size. However, could not find a smaller one on the market for similar price.

It just won't connect wirelessly to my iMac, tried a numbers times but get similar problems to other reviewers on here, totally pointless and not able to return it as outside the permitted time. complete waste of £200+

Not cheap, but seems to produce excellent results. I'll use this printer mainly for photographs so quality of reproduction is very important and this seems to fill the bill. Also being so small (tiny almost!) it can easily be put away when not in use.

Excellent printer for size and cost. Just beware that curled paper can cause jams.

Bought this printer to take with me abroad. Really tricky to set up - had to use youtube video. Prints well but not as small and portable as I hoped but it does the job.
