This product works well and does the job its made for. However, It is not the silent runner it is made out to be. I suggest you would not want it working in your bedroom when sleeping.

From an aesthetic point of view this Honeywell Humidifier is very neat and compact, with a very nice design.It is very easy to use and refill and has a variable setting to suit your preference. It is very quiet and unobtrusive when running. It comes with a 3 year guarantee and can be used with an optional Demineralisation Cartridge if you live in a hard water area. I use mine in the living room when the central heating is on and it definitely helps to stop my skin becoming too dry in the cold weather. A good product.

I have used my humidifier a few times now & it has already stopped working

Small and quite discreet, if a little noisier than I had imagined.Does the job very well though, I noticed a definite change in the air quality within a few hours. I would suggest this particular model is better suited for flats or small houses, of you have a larger house get the bigger model

This is the first time I have tried out a air humidifier having toyed with it in the past. I got this to try to alleviate dry conditions inside due to such things as air con and central heating etc, as well as take advantage of some of the other benefits from increased humidity.Switch it on and in operation you would barely notice its there. Slim compact and silent (almost!) so you can should be able to put it away almost anywhere. Easily fillable from the top without any unnecessary spillage, and coupled with a supplied water filter to help against the effects of hard water (calcium etc). One complete fill and your good to go for a full 24 hours.The important question is does it work? Well yes and no, Yes it works well in an average sized room but not so well I found in a larger room, I haven't fully tested this yet in different situations as I have only used this a handful of times so far but will report back if anything changes. Please bear in mind how acute the problem is and how often you may actually use it, otherwise it may end up becoming a pass me on gift to someone else.The build quality is excellent, solidly put together and backed by a manufacturers warranty of 3 years and overall low power consumption. The price well its a lot of money which in my case I only use occasionally, there are cheaper options, such as leaving a bowl of water of your heater and letting it evaporate naturally, (and yes it does work, try it!) this should save you buying this.Pros: Compact, silent,good build, good capacityCons: Expensive luxury

Unit requires filters, filters don'r appear to be sold in the UK... Amazon shouldn't let this be listed.I have two, and i found out to late to return the items. Very expensive paper weights.

I have owned a couple of portable humidifiers over the past 20 years, and they weren't very good. This one is much better, and I am very pleased with it so far. It is easy to use and it produces plenty of humidity in a matter of seconds.To use it, fill it with water, switch it on, and turn the bog dial on the side to adjust the humidity level you want. When filled to top, it will run for 24 hours on maximum. Its ultrasonic vaporiser creates a very fine mist, which you can see flowing from the funnel on the top. As the mist is cold (not steam) it does tend to cool the air in a room. I noticed a drop of several degrees in room temperature when the humidifier was running for an hour. The absence of scolding steam means it is okay to let pets and children near it, but the manual does point out the dangers of tipping it over when it is switched on.The "relaxing water feature" is a bit of an overstatement. There is nothing much to see in terms of flowing water (despite the best efforts of the box artwork illustrator), but it does produce a pleasant babbling water sound. This sound happens to mask the buzzing noise that the device makes, which actually makes it a clever bit of design, and makes good use of the device's need to pump the water around as part of its normal operation. I suppose they make a "feature" of the water feature, because there really isn't much to say about the product. It increases room humidity, and does it very well. It's not an exciting product but it is essential if you or your plants are suffering in dry air.One obvious benefit not mentioned on the box is that increased humidity helps keep dust out of the air. Breathing dusty air, especially when you can see it drifting around in shafts of sunlight, can be unpleasant and lead to sneezing and so on.It's a really nice humidifier. It is very easy to use, and the bits you need to clean can be put in the dishwasher. It uses 41 watts of power, so about the same as an old-fashioned light bulb. I am concerned about the availability of replacement demineralization filters in the UK, and the mounting cost of them over time but, other than that, it's a nice product.

On one hand it is a very neat product: pleasant aesthetics & easy to use. You just have to take it out of the box, remove one bit of tape from the bottom of the tank, fill with water and plug it in. The operating manual consists of a series of illustrations so at first sight it is a bit odd, but once you understand the meaning of the drawings, it explains clearly how to use and maintain the machine.On the other hand the device is noisy and cannot be kept in a bedroom if you expect to sleep. Even in the living room, if you like silence, you will constantly hear the pump working to produce the steam. So unless you're not bothered by that, I would recommend this product. For me, it does not meet my expectations.

De silencioso tiene poco, emite un zumbido continuo aparte del ruido del chorrito de agua, pero parece que funciona.Aparte de eso deberían informar del tipo de enchufe, puesto que lo están vendiendo en amazon.es.

per umidificare umidifica bene , è anche rapido e semplice nel caricamento dell'acqua; per quanto riguarda la silenziosità lascia molto a desiderare ...lo avevo comprato per la camera da letto e l'ho invece , dopo la prima notte, posizionato nella stanza da pranzo
