Physical buttons & small format. Perfect.
I've bought this item three times in a row as my mobile phone. I am 83 years old and can't cope with these new smartphones, as they are so confusing, very big and have no physical buttons. Which is why I keep buying this phone. A small phone size in my pocket because it folds over, and it has physical keyboard buttons. It is perfect for me at my age. I also like the clock on the front of the phone, the fact it has a torch on it which is turned on by the side button, and it's nice to have the charging cradle that i simply pop the phone into.

Utter cRubbish
Cheap toy plastic , awful build quality, does not fit together perfectly so fingers “catch” on the side by the el cheapo awkward buttons. The SIM card was a nightmare to fit in, after you’ve finally got the back off which is not simple and feels like it’s going to shear off every time. You need a micro memory card ( not supplied) which is also a pig to fit. It makes sounds for everything you can’t switch off and the instructions are useless. The few provided ring tones are awful Melodie’s and toned to pierce deaf ears, no option for a regular ring included. Same with message alerts. It’s not slimline just so you know, but no real reason why not. I’ve “upgraded” from a £13 2014 Alcatel 2G flip only as it won’t work when they switch off the signal but it still works and had better everything without patronising old people that like me have been using Nokia and smart phones for all this century. I just need a long lasting battery 4G flip and don’t mind big buttons but these aren’t special if that’s what you want. The software sucks, Nokia was better 20 years ago. The operation is awkward. No centre “ok” confirm This is hands down the worst £50 I’ve spent this year and will doubtless be replacing it at the earliest opportunity. This is so bad I’m actually angry. All the high scorers bought it for some poor soul that had to smile and say thank you and don’t actually use it themselves

Artfone
Good phone, easy to use but disappointed with battery charging and life, runs down very quickly and charging can be a bit hit and miss, may need to buy a second battery, something I should not have to do.

Specification and appearance ideal for the elderly
The phoneG6 4G is part of the Artfone range ideal for the elderly with its large buttons.I have used the CF241 for 5 tears Without any problems but in light of the need for larger than 3g i decided on an upgrade model namely Artfone G6 4G. This is very similar in many ways but with additional features.its operatllion and set up is similar and easy. my only concern is the acceptance of a Sim card nano Micro Sim.i have struggellTd getting the phone to accept any of AEE or Vodafone brand.Onthis issue i am in discussion with Artfone and Amazon. This is pity for such a fine spec phone.

Lovely phone. Just what I wanted
Our Doro 4020 became unreliable as 2G was being phased out. It was my wife’s phone; she’s elderly and is “technically challenged”. More up-to-date Doro models get poor reviews, so I decided to try this phone. I didn’t want any smart or Internet features, just a good, reliable 4G dumb phone. It’s certainly an excellent replacement for our Doro phone. I had no problem setting it up except I couldn’t work out how to stop the beep and the number read-out when a button was pressed. I contacted Artphone and got a very rapid, helpful and pleasant reply. (Settings > Customise > Other alert rings > key tone, and, dial tone). It was very reassuring to receive such quick support from China, and that confirms my confidence that this phone is an excellent buy. The FM radio is a nice surprise and it works quite well. No complaints about the battery life, either. It’s a pity that Doro seems to have lost it’s way, but anyone looking for a phone for an elderly person will be very happy with this Artphone.

Not user friendly
We have used various mobile phones and can usually figure out how to do things like send texts, change to lower case. Not this one. The information with it is very basic and I eventually had a partial response from Artfone. Definitely don't recommend it - would have returned it but have left it too late. Now finding that the volume gets accidentally turned down when handling as buttons on the side so calls are missed and calls can be accidentally made as there is a call button on the front. Good idea in principle, but not practise. Very disappointing.

Great little phone
Brought for my Dad for father's day. His hearing is not great, but for him the ring was to loud on maximum and had to turn it down. Easy yo set up, the screen is a good size and so are the buttons. First time I have brought this brand and overall I am very happy about it. But mose impressive is the customer Service amazing, had a small problem and was user error and nothing to do with the phone. It was dealt with quickly and effectively. Gold star⭐️
