You get what you pay for but NO INSTRUCTIONS - FRUSTRATING!!!
For a cheap product it has good and bad points. The sound quality, with the earplugs supplied, was very good. Major problem is that no instructions are supplied and I had great difficulty trying to switch it on. I plugged it into my laptop and it connected automatically. I thought I had it "Sync"ed correctly but everything I downloaded dumped into the first folder, instead of separate folders. It also plays every song in order, instead of the select grouping I had wanted (despite downloading in separate folders). I had great difficulty in figuring out how to play the music and could not figure out which button to press, which to press & hold, which to press twice etc. Eventually, after many many trials I heard some music - good quality sound - but have no idea how I did it. I have tried once since then with no success. I know how to change the colour of the screen and how to switch it off/on and how to increase/decrease the volume but that's about it. It only took about 4 hrs to figure that out!!! Although it is really cheap compared to other MP3 players, it is a massive frustration to learn how to play music - IF ONLY THEY HAD INCLUDED AN INSRUCTION SHEET THEN MAYBE THAT WOULD'VE HELPED. Have given up for now. Needed it at the weekend but couldn't be bothered with the frustrations. Such a simple solution would make all the difference. There is a funny wheel type switch at the top which catches on my pocket and changes things which is also frustrating as I am not sure what it does yet. If you just want a throw away item for playing all tracks one after the other, AND you can afford to spend many hours trying to figure out how to use it, then I guess it's worth the money. If you can afford a higher price then maybe try something a bit more akin to the versatility of the Walkman CD Player. How hard can storing a series of songs in different folders - and then playing only one folder at a time - be? Why not have a plain "play/pause/stop" button if all you're doing is one song after another?

The worst piece of junk you'll hopefully never come across
Firstly it came through the post about a week too late - I reckon it would have sooner arrived brought by foot all the way from China - and when it finally did, I regretted I ever set my eyes on it. It's incredibly user unfriendly in as many ways you can imagine - the most frequent display on screen is either "please wait" or "format error". The display is backlit in dark electric blue, on top of which there is a myriad of information in black - have a microscope ready if you want to read what it says. The hold button is there but doesn't do what it's supposed to. There is a strange little lever with which you're supposed to control everything apart from play and pause - fast forwarding, rewinding, skipping to next track, browsing through folders, choosing the EQ - and it gets stuck nine out of ten times so forget about any of that. Any command you attempt is nauseatingly slow and sluggish to respond. Also, forget about listening to any beat-oriented music on full volume - it distorts with every beat whichever headphones you plug in. The best you can manage is to get it to play and then just leave it, but not for long - the playback, once established, is full of pops and clicks which eventually become annoying. Best thrown straight in the bin or preferably smashed against the floor, forgotten about and written down to experience. Unless you have nerves of steel and the patience of a saint, do not buy as you'll be very, very sorry. Invest in something a little more expensive that also has a manual enclosed.
