Power Rangers - The Movie [DVD]

I love mighty morphin power rangers tv series. The film was better than series. Bulk and skull still enternain me after 30 years.

Ivan Ooze has come to take over the world and only five teenage kids with no acting skills and bad one liners can stop him!!!Well, no one buys or watches the Power Rangers movie for the acting, because there really wasn't any. The movie boasts very little in the way of drama, but it is high on action and weird bird people.I bought this out if nostalgia, and despite the acting and silly special effects I didn't stop smiling all the way through. It does have a good plot line and the villain does keep the story going rather well. Whenever the acting gets too bad, something evil pops onto the screen and a fight scene starts! Plus it has a happy (cheesy) ending, so smiles all round.The DVD itself arrived quickly and efficiently, with adequate packaging. Overall I am very happy with my purchase; it was like a trip down memory lane.I can see why I loved it as a child. It would be a good film for kids to watch.

Power Rangers The Movie is one of my favourite films of all time. I am a Power Rangers fan and that might have something to do with it but this is a good film especially since the original cast are in it. Jason David Frank is there and Amy Jo Johnson is there amongst others. It focuses on the Mighty Morphin storyline which to me is my favourite era of Power Rangers. I give this film five out of five as it is good. There is a new character in there that is not a tv series regular besides Ivan Ooze and that is the pig monster that walks around with Rita and Zedd. I'm looking forward to Power Rangers Samurai like a lot of Power Rangers fans and hope that Saban will bring out more Power Rangers movies in the future! Also if you're a Power Rangers fan make sure you attend Power Morphicon!

My 3 year old son loves this movie.The picture quality isn't brilliant compared to new dvd's and blue ray but it doesn't stop him watching it over and over again. It's not a perfect picture as i believe it's taken from old t.v episodes but it's not bad enough to not buy it.Lots of harmless action where no one get hurt and monsters that don't scare him at all.He loves all the fighting and big bright colours and transforming sequences etc. He loves them when they turn into giants.All harmless fun really that keeps him happily occupied for some time.Great stuff for kids!

The picture shown is of the of Turbo: Power Rangers movie, but when it arrived it was the MMPR movie. I'm not complaining from the standpoint of I was getting MMPR anyway, but I was hoping it was the Turbo I was getting. So I say to the person selling change the picture shown.

My Son (age 22) asked me to purchase this on line because he adored the Power Rangers when he was young. He wanted to remember what it was he loved about the Power Rangers. We have since watched the DVD. We both had a good laugh and enjoyed it thoroughly, even though the characters in the film seem a bit tame to us now, some years later. Ivan Ooze and Rita Repulsa haven't changed a bit! Having ordered the DVD on line, it arrived within just a few days in perfect condition, was well wrapped and my son was thrilled to bits with his 'trip down memory lane'.

yes, the good old time when Power Rangers were funny and amazing at the same time. After having seen the re-make, I really wanted to watch the old movie again. There is nothing better than a bit of nostalgia. The animations in the movie however are soooo bad, (for obvious reasons), that they make the movie even nicer to watch. Nothing to complain, it's good, it's awesome, it's power rangers.!!!!
