Great book with detailed descriptions of weaves.

I've been chain making for years and this is the best instructional book I've come across. It gives simple instructions and color photos. Great book!

Excellent book, easy to follow

Joe’s book is fabulous! As you can see from my photos, he has quite a number of designs to choose from and his tutorials are very clear and helpful! They are color coded and you get a front view and a top down look as well. It’s an amazing book! I can’t be happier that I found it on Amazon!!

Experienced chainmailer, my wife bought me this book as a gift.There is an issue in this book, and that is any weave recommending the use of rings at a 3.5 aspect ratio. The ratio is correct for these weaves, but some instruct the use of 18SWG 5/32" rings. These rings are 3.4 aspect ratio, which means the weave gets too tight before it can be completed, there isn't enough room for rings to pass through where they should.Most of the weaves that recommend this ring size use it as an alternative, so if you have the first reccomended ring size it won't be an issueOtherwise great instructions and visuals with step by step instructions, recommended aspect ratios are all spot on.
