For LG G3, 3800mAh Replacement Battery for LG BL-53YH, D850, D855, D830, VS985, F460

I bought this battery on the basis of positive reviews. I wanted it to replace my 2yo original LG battery which deteriorated significantly since when it was new. I could barely get 12 hours of LIGHT use out of it. My friend recently got a brand new LG G3, so we swapped batteries for two days and with his new original, I was able to get almost two full days!So I put in this Mbuynow battery and initially there was no difference with the old battery. However, I thought that I will give it some time to break in. So I charged it 100%, then let it drain to near 0%. I was doing that for several weeks. Now it has been nearly two months and... The battery holds even shorter.The original battery has 3000mAh and holds nearly two days. This battery is supposed to have 3800mAh but holds only half a day. Basically, I spent money to land exactly where I was before spending it. I am not happy with this purchase.

when your LG G3 starts restarting for no reason constantly, till eventually it doesnt start anymore than it means your battery is so weak it cannot boot up the phone. buying one of these solves this.the official batteries sold on amazon are all fakes, you cant get the original ones. and unfortunately these fakes cannot handle the original lg charger, it is 3 amps and just way too strong for any battery and will wear it out.this is the third battery I have now had, and its the best. its capacity is definitely 3800mAh, its better than the other one i bought on amazon. but I wouldn't say it lasts longer than the original, but just as much.I have stopped using the official LG charger and this battery has lasted me almost 5 months, and still going strong.

Only 4 stars because i have not yet had chance to fully cycle the battery. But its looking good so far.

Very poor and empty battery capacity like others have said i have to agree' it worked upon first 1 or 2 uses then just dropped like it was an dummy battery pack.i understand how batteries work they usually do similar upon first use and get better for holding charge for longer these did the opposite over a few discharges and recharges and got supper hot."Grade A+ rechargeable Lithium battery cells" is questionable i gave 2 stars as they didn't blow my 2 daughters up.then again i would have given 1 star if it set fire to me ;) no joke so be carefull.P.S i purchased 2 both showed different mah......not 3800mah.....the original batteries with the LG3 lasted 4-5 hours longer and they have been used to watch videos and play games daily for 2 year.*UPDATEthe seller kindly contact me after my review with and offered a replacement (sent me another to test)here is what i foundafter 40 minutes the battery was still on 100%after 1 hour the battery only lost 2% and was at 98%after 1 hour and 20 minutes the percentage was 96%after 2 hour the battery was at 91%!! a drop of only 9% in 2 hour!!the original LG battery (18 month old)after 40 minutes the original battery was at 91%after 1 hour the battery was at 87% (loss of 13%)after 1 hour and 20 minutes the percentage was at 73%after 2 hour the battery was at 70% (drop of 30%)brightness was set to half although in real world usage batteries vary butthis one does not drain like the ones from my previous order and i noticed the lack of heat on this battery! and was fairly cool not excessively hot!the ones i returned happened to drop within hour and 10 minutes (approx)to around 56% - 58%!i tried the battery again the day after a charge it reached 47 minutes before it dropped to 99% (so 7 minutes longer on 2nd charge)they actually sent me another the 2nd replacement was very similar to this one (better than my original order) as these 2 did not get drastically hot with extreme over heating my conclusion is its a case of some are fine some may have issues.

Not 3800mah rip off

It says 3800 mAh, but I can assure you it's less than 2500. My original battery had around 2200 mAh left and it lasted about the same as this one does. (If we can count on mAh consumed calculated on phone). Either way, barely get 2 hours of screen on time and I'm using it from 100% to 2% charge. Letting it charge over night. ALSO, the battery's thermostat doesn't work. It ALWAYS reads 25 degrees when the battery is obviously at a lot more while charging. Wouldn't suggest.EDIT: About 7 months after purchase - the battery started going very bad. Phone shuts down by itself.

I wanted a replacement battery to go with a new purchase of a second hand LG G3 I bought which had a working but slightly tired battery inside. I would usually shy away from third party batteries but after realising it's nearly impossible to get batteries that aren't fake these days I though it was worth a go (a previous "genuine" battery from another site turned out to be fake).Well this battery seems to offer slightly better life which is good enough for me, for now I'm happy with it but will update should I have any doubts in the future. So far, so good as they say.

Gud battery. Fix MI problem with phone reboot.
