Rubie's Official Purple And Silver Fairy Wings Adult (One Size) Halloween Halloween

This was for my GF, so my review will be on my opinion from putting it on myself :D to how she tells me what it felt like for her. The fabric on this is fragile, if you get it caught in something it Will rip, the design is as cool as it looks, its functionality works via a bit of fabric stuck onto a hinge in the middle so as you go through doors etc the wings will move along with any resistance. It is quite big and the box is bigger, this means that you may need to be there when it arrives or like me, I had to get it delivered via courier as I live in Ireland and the company does not deliver into Ireland so I used parcel motel to do it for me. A long with this, the size means that you will be hitting people in the head etc with the wings as you pass them. This can get annoying as my GF liked to prove to me. :D. It is held on by two black elastic bands around 15mm wide. If it gets around my shoulders I really wouldnt worry about it fitting you. :D

Amazing wings! I got loads of positive comments from friends and strangers alike when I wore these out on a hen party. Absolutely stunning & they held up suprisingly well considering I spent most of the night waving my wings in people's faces! (An inevitable event considering their size and my height, but nobody seemed to mind?!) Well worth the cost in my opinion.

Didn't like them but would cost too much to send back so I'm stuck with em they don't hang rite at all

These really are large, not quite as picture, the top wings go out the the side more than upwards, but you have to turn sideways to get through a doorway - so definitely latte, everybody loved them 😄

The product picture is a little more embellished than the actual product. Mine has a dark stain in the material and also bits of glue splattered in non-aesthetically pleasing places. They will do the job of fairy god mother for world book day though. Arrived as predicted for p&p/delivery option so thumbs up for that.

beautiful wings definitely for adults as very large, made well had no problems just need good excuse to keep wearing them

Looks good but within 5 minutes of wearing them just to try them on they got a big hole and laddered but I'd thrown the huge box that they arrived in away and to late to return them for a refund by then. Very disappointed as were for my 50th birthday fairy themed celebrations. Got to buy some more now! 😔

These wings are great! Vey pretty purple. They seem to be good quality although I haven't worn them for long yet. They're pretty wide so I may try to bend them back a little so I don't do any damage in my house during our Halloween party! My only complaint is they had a factory type smell. Not too horrible though. I just hung them out in my garage for a couple days to air them out.

They were beautiful wings but they need to reinforce the middle section. These wings are HUGE and very heavy, they had a tendency to both flop to one side and hang at a funny angle because of this. If we reuse them next year I am thinking I will glue some stiff cardboard in the middle and cover with colored felt to reinforce them. They really were stunning, too bad they didn't have the right support.

I was surprised at how big these wings really are in person. It is sometimes hard in a picture to know if the person wearing them has them just lower on their back, etc. Well these to hit to below your butt and tower over your head. For the price, you get a lovely pair of wings at a really good size.These seemed to be constructed well and the nylon used didn't tear or run as of yet. I like these don't have the globed on glitter look either. They really do look nice and not cheap in person.One the thing I do need to note is a lot of people thought they were upside down because of how the wings are, look at the picture and you'll noticed the straight lines face down and the curving detail faces up...on other wings it is the other way around. Also the longer wings are at the bottom with these and with others it would be flipped. So just be ready for people to ask or tell you the wings are on wrong when they aren't.

Got these to for being a fairy for a school festival for Halloween. Wore them for several hours and through a variety of conditions, including dancing around, trying to navigate doorways and tiny hands touching them. They lasted amazingly well! Still look almost as good as they did coming out of the package! One does become adept at side stepping down narrow hallways and through door frames, as well as figuring out how to sit down with them on. But that would happen with any set of wings. My only complaint is that after about 3 hours the elastic, which keeps the wings secured to your body, digs into you and becomes very uncomfortable. A temporary fix was to add some padding underneath the elastic to endure the last hour. Looking into a long term fix as I plan to wear these wings again in the near future.Oh, and they were BEAUTIFUL as well! Add all this with affordable and it becomes a smart purchase!
