How is sock height measured?

Here’s my husbands foot wearing the socks. Picture is worth a thousand words.

Is this like the 656c? I'm looking for the same sock that I have, I think its the 5656c.

The items I received were not Gold Toe socks. They were made way too small, and too tight in the elastic to wear. I bought some actual Gold Toe from Macy's, and there was no comparison. This was my experience.

Are they made in USA?

I am not sure if they are made in the USA, but their customer service is in Charleston, South Carolina and they have been in business since 1934. Sounds American to me.
