OXO Good Grips Tabletop Spiralizer

I've been wanting to get a spiralizer for quite some time now, and finally decided to go for this OXO one based on the positive reviews. I wanted something smaller than the others, that had storage for all of the blades and that looked robust, and this is definitely the one! Really easy to use, nice and compact on my kitchen top so it doesn't take up much room, and it just works like a dream.The suction cup on the bottom ensures that it won't move or 'creep' whilst you're using it and the blades are super sharp - they look like they're going to last a long time. The three blades allow you to spiralize virtually any vegetable or fruit - so far I've tried courgettes, sweet potatoes, carrots, regular white potatoes (for curly fries!), apples and I've used the red blade to thinly slice a block of cheddar cheese for sandwiches.It's so easy to use and clean up takes seconds - I usually just need to do a simple wipe down and rinse the blade, but once a week it will go in the dishwasher (top shelf) just fine. I absolutely love it and I'm so happy that I decided to go with this one!

Having made a disappointing impulse purchase of an electric spiralizer, that is fine for courgettes and carrots but turns beetroot to mush and wouldn't make a dent in any hard vegetables, I spent hours researching to try to find one that worked on all vegetable types. Every time I thought I had found the Holy Grail, I then read reviews that said the suction pads didn't work, or you need to watch a YouTube video before you can put it together, or it only worked on vegetables 3 inches long, or it was no longer available in this country, or... Finally, I came across the OXO one. I wanted one that was stable and one that worked on all vegetable types and didn't require a degree in mechanical engineering to work it. To my delight, this is it! The huge suction pad means that, once in place, it's not going anywhere! It comes basically put together, apart from you select and slot in your choice of blade. I like the little container to keep the blades safe in. So far, I have tried it on carrots, courgettes, celeriac and sweet potato and it works fine on all of them. It is also not so huge that I can't find a corner in a cupboard for it. I agree that it does needs some sort of shallow tray for the courgetti to go in, otherwise they just spill straight onto the worktop, but for me that's not a deal breaker. Would absolutely recommend this!

Pros:I've tried it with zucchini, cucumbers, carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes (not on photo below)... No problems whatsoever. Perfect spirals! And it's easy to clean. I like how blade attachments are in different colors.Cons:Even with this big suction design it still might not stick properly to all surfaces.The flipping gray lever that's used to attach it to countertop could be improved.

I’ve essentially used the spiralizer only for zucchini so far but I’ve been highly satisfied. It is so well designed that it is a pleasure to use. The zucchini ‘spaghetti’ with a simple fresh tomato sauce, warm or cold, a splash of olive oil, grated Parmesan and a twist of black pepper, makes a fabulous healthy dish.

Thank you for a speedy delivery. The spiraliser was actually used by my husband first and he said it was brilliant. Worked easily, and the spirals were neat and clean and looked very fancy on our plates. I have already recommended this to friends.

Great little machine. I have been eating a lot more raw veggies lately as I've always hated chopping. Very easy to spiralise courgettes, beets, even daikon radish! I love it and have used it almost daily.

Really wanted to like this. But I couldn’t get the suction to hold for more than or 3 handle turns then the whole thing slides sideways. Returning unfortunately

I've had friends buy cheaper spiralizers which didn't deliver. This one is very good. It adheres to my glass worktop saver brilliantly. I agree with other though about it not being so good on surfaces with texture. 3 friends have since purchased this on my recommendation. It's good to make your own spiralled vegetables, much fresher and last longer than prepared from he supermarket.

This product does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is easy to use and grips the counter well (a very important feature.). Blades are sharp and I love the case. Cleaning is simple. The whole is easy to use.

excellent spiralizer, no issues whatsoever with mine, the suction on it holds great on my island glass protector.. So easy to use and pretty quick at spiraling veggies. I am not a big veggie person (i don’t like the prep work), with this thing i am becoming so and i’ve had either zucchinis, carrots (stains) and yellow squash (all with crumbled bacon to make them yummier) every day since i got this early this week. It is so quick to use, like 2 minutes or less, that you don’t need to spiral vegetables ahead of time. easy to clean, i just spray it with hot water and it is clean..perfect BUT, does have one downfall. on main piece/base where the slicing plates clip into on bottom, that little square opening isn’t sealed around it inside, so when you wash it, water gets into the base and you can’t get it out!! eventually this will cost mold/etc issues.. so best to cover it up somehow when you wash the base so no water & soap goes inside that area.. other than that, this is an awesome slicer, cost more than others i’ve seen but, i am glad i chose it over others, it is a good brand..

Wir haben das Gerät gleich ausprobiert, hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Der Saugnapf hat es gut fixiert. Wir geben es nicht wieder her!

A pesar de los inconvenientes con eel tapon de succión, el vendedor reemplazó el equipo por uno nuevo. Por eso creo que es un excelente servicio de postventa. Y cambio a 5 estrellas nuevamente.El tapón de succión dejo de funcionar. Con quien puedo ver esto? Tiene escasos 2 meses de q lo compré y 4 veces de uso
