A Great Series
The Schaum series is excellent for teaching / learning piano. I would highly recommend taking a student all the way through. I use this in conjunction with Alfred and Thompson. Glad these are so readily available on Amazon.

Nothing really changes
We found that the fist book in the series was the same, only slightly updated version as one my mother in law (aged 93) learnt from 80+ years ago - now her great grandson (aged 8) is loving it!

Good Instructional Tool
My eight year old just started this book. I played through it and it appears to be a nice progression of skills. It's what her piano teacher, a retired music teacher, and musical savant wanted her to use. If it helps her to become half as good as her piano teacher, it's a great book!
