Barbie Fashionistas Doll Teddy Bear Flair

I took up Barbie collecting to get through the pandemic. In other words, I bought this doll a few years after it came out. I had my eye on it for awhile, debating how much I was willing to pay on the re-sale market. And then one of the sellers randomly reduced the price to $20 so I scooped it up. When the doll arrived, I was so relieved to see that her face (a Skipper mold) and hair were perfect. This pandemic has prevented me from visiting toy stores to see dolls in person before buying them, so I've received too many marked-up, crooked-eyed, box-wrecked dolls in the mail. Not this time. I put her head on the purple top made to move body for added articulation (DHL84). The red "girls rule" teddy bear t-shirt and gold skirt look fantastic together, although I put her in a more mature top. She's a front-row doll, for sure.

I actually bought this doll for the outfit she wore to use on other Barbies. But I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked her little face. She seems warmer in person :) Glad I got her. I really do like the teddy bear tshirt, gold skirt and chunky shoes. Looking forward to swapping outfits between Barbies.

I just took a risk by ordering this doll. In some pictures it was looking very beautiful, in some very generic. I was also worried about the hair, but at last mine came with beautiful dark hair and very very beautiful face. I was unsure about the outfit, but in person everything is fine with this doll. I also added pictures with Made to Move Purple Top for skin tone comparison. I highly recommend this doll.

I bought her because I can't find a European looking Barbie with black hair. Seriously, Caucasians in case you don't know are people from European Georgia, known for their pale skin, green eyes, big heads and most importantly black hair!!!!! Some ancient tribes of Kurds also have this look. Blond hair and blue eyes has less relevance with Caucasus. Those tribes rather came later in the region from Asia. So because of historical ignorance Mattel has not produced any dolls of this look which is really sad, or if they did they call them something else, like Latino/Hispanic. Please Mattel, do your homework, read some proper history books! So this doll is my substitute. I love her hair, I adore her skin color but I would prefer red lipstick. I was also sad to notice the packaging had failed and one of her shoes was missing. I kept the doll because she is really beautiful but I would appreciate it if quality control would stop this packaging at the warehouse and rather send a sealed one with both shoes on!

I think the face of this doll is beautiful.In some cases, the eyelashes up and down look a little messy. This doll is better because it is not.Besides, I bought this doll at a good price.There are stains that can not be erased on the back. Considering the many advantages of the doll, it is trivial.

A lovely new addition to the Fashionista line: using the grown-up Skipper headsculpt, on the "original" Barbie body sculpt, she is nearly exactly like her photos. In person, her skintone is much more pale, and without the warm/pink undertone that the promo photos have; her makeup and hair, as well as fashion, are exactly like the promo photos.If you have the pale blonde/shaved head Skipper Fashionista ("L.A. Girl"), the Teddy Bear Fashionista provides a wonderful complimentary contrast to her.Recommend!

Doll came in smashed packaging, which I was fine with, but only had one of her boots. The other one wasn't anywhere and it's clear you take a gamble when purchasing these as to whether you're going to get the entire product.

I bought it for a girl we sponsor in Nicaragua. I have never bought Barbies before. It was delivered very fast. Looked like a regular Barbie doll (I wanted it not to be blonde). Also got a set of clothes and shoes to go with it. They fit. I saw pictures of the girl playing with it and seems happy. That's what matters.
