Funcase Rovospy with Night Vision

I bought this when it was on the deals and it looked good on what it said and quick delivery but when I put 6AA batteries in it and connected it up to the WiFi it worked for a few minutes and then crashed and it wouldn't work so I turn it off and then time the batteries in and out and it would do the same so I will be returning it.

I needed to inspect under the floorboards of my house and this little guy seemed to be up to the job. Pleased with the performance for the price.A few notes:I'm using Android and found 3 apps which appeared to control the tank. The only one which fully supported it was called "multispy" - the app icon just has the text "MULTISPY". The obvious one "ROVOSPY" with an icon of the tank semi-worked but did not show video.The video produced is 640x480 avi with audio. Night vision light is quite impressive. Can be used at the same time as the visible headlights or solo.Control is via direct WiFi to your phone/tablet. (An option to connect to the local LAN would have been nice.) The wifi signal seemed weaker than expected, even strugging to work at times through the floorboards. Fine when in the same room or within a few metres. May have just been a weakness of my tablet.Taking pictures/videos is really simple and worked well.Looking up/down is great, you can choose whatever angle you wish within the range.Moving forward and turning are both "all or nothing". You cannot drive slowly or turn slowly unfortunately.You need to use quality batteries. Those cheap ones will leave you struggling to connect via wifi. No idea how long the batteries would last as I cheated and rigged it up via a DC power supply at 9v. It pulled in about an amp on average during use. (There's no dc socket for this so I made my own.)When driving, the motor is quite noisy. Didn't bother me but may be a nuisance factor for some.Build quality is what you'd expect for what is basically a toy. Performed fine.

Do not buy this product. It does not connect to my phone. There is no app for ios 11. The product worked for a bit but then stopped. It would not move. And why does it use batteries? Why can’t it just charge up just like everything else. You need six batteries to make it work.

This is such a neat toy. Can control it anywhere in the house and garden without moving from my seat using the multispy app. Was on it so long I drained the batteries.I did find that it played up after I changed the batteries but i had replaced with cheap zinc batteries. So I put in new alkaline batteries and it works fine.

Does not work with later iOS systems and no fix available. Very poor that this is not specified in the terribly written description ! Waste of time and monry

Rubbish do not buy crashes all the time and have to reset device and robot tried on several devices all same crashes after a few seconds returning for refund read other reviews online must say they same
