A bit tooooo low tack...
I'm an artist, and I use watercolours quite frequently; my current low-tack masking tape (Kleenedge low tack) had a bad habit of taking off the top layer of my paper when I was removing it from the drawing board, but since I purchased this tesa low tack masking tape I have the opposite problem! It just peels right off... I have to use a number of strips to hold the edges down to secure paper on the board, and watercolour can bleed right underneath it (especially with a wash which is when I need it most). When you need to use masking tape to hold down your masking tape you have a problem. Also peeling masking tape ends bother me to the bottom of my sad little soul I'm always trying to flatten everything back down.(FYI, I bought some masking tape from Wilko and it does seem better for a fraction of the price and no ruined art I think I'll risk it.)

As described
Probably better than normal masking tape. It didn't work perfectly as a small amount of paint did come off but it did give a clean edge. I suspect on the part it did come off it had been pressed on harder than the areas where it didn't, so when I use it again I'll take care not to press down more than absolutely necessary. The extra width is very helpful. Only used it overnight so didn't test the 7 day feature.

Disappointing
I have been unable to get the Tesa tape I usually use to anchor my watercolour paper to my board so decided to try this one.Whilst it is OK it does not stay fixed for long enough and quickly starts to lift. I know I am a "very wet" water-colourist so the problem may lie with me ... it would be fine to use for this if one is "quick and dry" but if you do a lot of wet-on-wet then it is far from ideal.

A good tape to use if you are doing feature walls where two different colours meet but be gentle when applying smooth it down to hard on wall paper or freshly painted surface and you may find you have to touch it back in as I did albeit a tiny area so a gentle touch when applying but still gives good straight lines.

I have given it 3 stars because as I wanted a low tack tape this tape is very low tack and in that sense it should have 5 stars but it's so low tack it keeps falling off my wall before I get to paint it so that's why only 3 stars so in my opinion not any good for decorating rooms unless you use it on the floor lol

LOW TACK TAPE
I am trying Tesa Sensitive Surfaces Low Tack masking Tape as an easily removable fixing tape to use on my drawing board. If you are an artist or draughtsman living out in the sticks this so far seems a useful answer. I have not yet tried it with a full range of papers but so far the results are OK. but I would have liked a little more stickiness
It's ok, but I would have liked a little more stickiness. It is ok for water colour paper, but on acrylic paper the tape comes away often. However, it is still a Good tape to keep your art paper flat to your board

Just right
I ordered this to use in conjunction with dies - to keep them in position on the cardstock. It stays sticky over a period of time and to date I haven't had a problem with residue left on the cardstock so will definitely re-order when the time comes
