Moleskine PRO Address Book, Hard Cover, Large (5" x 8.25") Address Book, Scarlet Red

This is fine. It is compact enough to put in a drawer, and has lots of pages for addresses. I printed out some address labels so I didn't have to re-write them, and can then add phone numbers and other info.

On the cusp of turning 34 in a few days and having had the same, relatively small American Greetings address book since I was in third grade, out of desperation I turned to Amazon to find a worthwhile, long-lasting replacement when I couldn't locate a high school friend's address to mail her birthday card (it was under her maiden name even though she's long been married...I'd run out of room to rewrite her address!). I took my time scrolling through all the options on Amazon and decided on this one mainly after reading the raving reviews about the "open space" (i.e., there's no confining borders or headers...you're free to write as much or as little as you like for each entry). For someone like me with OCD, this is actually perfect, especially these days when so few people have faxes and so many people have blogs, etc. I found out the hard way with my old addy book of 25 years that Post-Its work best for those people's info whom you know move around a lot (myself included), and this format allows for that trick very easily. This is not a portable address book; I keep it on my desk and pull it out to send thank-you cards, birthday cards, and am already looking forward to the ease of using it for my extensive Christmas card list. My one concern was it staying open to the page I turn to on its own, and while it doesn't do that, my smartphone or other handy gadget easily does the trick of serving as a paperweight. I also like the red colour as it stands out among my other papers and folders, so I always know where my address book is when my desk gets overrun. The pocket built in the back is nifty for stamps, business cards, etc. Job well done, Moleskin!

Address book was everything as described, and very impressive, felt like very nice quality. Good feel, thick pages to prevent bleed through, plenty of room to write free-form for address and phone numbers, plus I love the pocket in the back! However the red was a bit more orangey red, than red- which I absolutely hate, so I returned it. Aesthetic appeal means a lot, after all, I don't plan on replacing this for years, and I'm going to have to look at this for a long time. If the color were a true red, I'd give it 5 stars and definitely keep it!

This is a great address book. The address book print is a bit small, and the spacing between lines is just about right, there's room for many entries. The outside feels not so sturdy. One thing I've learned to write with pencil or erasable pen. Many websites are requiring a password or user name changes. All my previous organizers have become a mess. This way, you just erase and replace.This is my second address book.

The best address book I ever bought. There is an extra string for that number you have to keep calling. Goes to THAT PAGE! Used it so many times. Right product. Right price. Fits in my small purse too.

perfect, this is very personal, i just happen to like to put a lot of extra info on my entries, to remind myself of certain details for special events, a persons favorite hobbies for gift ideas, and their emergency contacts so i have a fast way to look stuff up in case of any problems...i have to use a bleed-proof pen, thats ok. i just like the size etc. i think it really depends on what you want. i looked at a lot of them, and this was what i went for after reading the reviews, which convinced me it was what i would like. it was true, so thanks to everyone who commented!!

This was my little wedding present to myself - a grown-up address book. I spent so long wrangling everyone's contact information for the invites that I felt like I owed it to myself to put it in a book.The reason I love this one so much is that I don't have waste endless space with empty "Fax: ________" lines and other nonsense. Sometimes it's just nice to throw a person's name and phone number in without feeling like I'm leaving an entry blank.I also love that it feels like it will last forever. The one I grew up with was a binder-style one with countless pages torn loose. This one is beautifully made. And it's red! I love red.

It is a really lovely book. It feels like a good quality book and is nice to use. It has a bookmark and an elastic strap to keep it closed. I find it is just the right size.
