I thought I'd better review this as I dithered so long choosing it, and was concerned by some of the reviews I read in doing so. This rug has only arrived today, so my thoughts are preliminary ones only! It came fast - faster than was forecast, and was delivered well packaged and in great condition. The rug itself is lovely, it's a little bit lighter than I was expecting but you never can be too sure when you're looking at something on your browser. It's a good thickness, is plenty soft enough - but isn't one of those ones like a fur rug. It feels quite oily, but that's probably a good thing in terms of protecting it from dirt. Once I unpacked it I reverse-rolled it for an hour which helped it to lay flat. I've given it a quick vacuum to refresh the pile, and I have to say I'm pleased with it. Great value for money. It does smell a little, but if you don't enjoy the smell of new carpet then I recommend not buying a new rug.

I had been worrying about all the wet/muddy paw prints my large hairy dog was making on my expensive woolen carpet. I basically don't like rugs as I feel they cut up the floor area visually and make my room look even more cluttered. However, I decided to give in and get a long pile rug to soak up the wet paw marks. Wow! this has been one of my best purchases ever!!! The colour, though a tiny bit paler than I expected is actually better and blends really well with my furnishings (and dog). He just loves it and rolls in the luxurious long pile. It is soft underfoot and a gorgeous texture. Not a single paw print has appeared (I do not worry about the mud staying there as it vacuums up as soon as it is dry, just looks awful for the first 24hrs or so on short pile carpets) I have not found any shedding yet. Only draw back is it makes little cars & Lego bricks vanish into the pile. Everybody who has come in has commented and complemented on the look of the rug and those whom I had let in on the price, have been amazed at the value. Both the dog and I just love our new purchase, even if for different reasons.

Exceptional value for money. I replace the sitting room rug regularly, as between kids and dogs, they can get battered looking no matter how clean. This rug is perfect. Matches the decor (colour actually nicer than picture) and looks more expensive than it was. Delivery was super quick and it was well packaged.

Wow these rugs are lovely! Ordered the smaller one for my bedroom and loved it so much ordered the larger one for the lounge. Just the colour I wanted and very soft to walk on. Looks and feels much more expensive, Time will tell how easy it is to clean but so far it’s perfect. Super quick delivery on both rugs. Very impressed will definitely recommend.

I would suggest that the manufacturers did not fold mat in two for delivery! Leaves a lot of bumps on the surface. Hard to get mat flat.
