Crunchies Freeze-Dried Fruit Snack, Mango, 1.5 Ounce Pouch

I love the freeze dried nature of crunchies. our local walmart carries the pineapple, apple and strawberries and I have never had an issue with the product bought there. Don't like the strawberries that much but love the pineapple and apple ones. but mango is my favorite fruit, so when i saw these at amazon I ordered them immediately. I am sorry to say they were terrible, flavor and texture wise. don't know why and since they were both more expensive than buying from walmart, I won't buy them again from amazon or anywhere else. I would recommend the product but not at this price and iffyness of quality.

I started buying these as a "to go" snack for my baby/toddler who is allergic to a lot of stuff. He loved fresh mangos so I selected this flavor. Now he loves these so much, he seems to object to fresh mangos. Now the whole family loves them. We buy all the other flavors (except blueberries, tried them once -- they'd be okay for baking with, but not a great snack). I've tried 2 other brands of freeze dried foods and I'd say Crunchies brand is the best -- size of pieces, texture/look of pieces, flavor. Only improvement would be for it to come in a large cannister size too, and even the 1.5 ounce would be better if it was in a hard sided container like "Just ___________" brand (also okay, but more shrivled up, less like airy).Good Job Crunchies!

This is a very small bag to start. The taste is ok but the texture is just odd. It is freeze dried which makes them almost hard. Some are crunchy and melt in your mouth and some are so hard you have to pick them out of your teeth. Not worth it to me.

These used to come as small cubes, they were delicious and the kids loved them. They now come as dry mango slices, the kids still love them. Ok, I eat them too. I think the previous formulation was slightly sweeter, and you could put it in cereal and the like, whereas the slices now are larger so you couldn't do that.Not quite sure why they reformulated them - they appear to have been out of stock for quite a while, and then when they were back in stock they are different. However, still good and still worth purchasing as a healthy snack.

I love this brand of freeze dried fruit but found the mango variety to lack flavor...unlike mango juice itself. Maybe when you take the "juice" out of this fruit it's just dried fiber. Not satisfying.

I didn't really like these. There are better freeze dried mango products out there.

I love crunchies and I have everyone hooked on them. But I was hoping that these would come in the form of a sliced apple or peach. They are little small tiny squares and are very tasty.

We love Mango Crunchies!!! They are healthy and delicious! We usually purchase several cases at a time! Our whole house loves them, even the 3 year old! We will buy again and again!!! GREAT HEALTHY SNACK!!!!
