Good quality struts but may not be as powerful as advertised.
Bought the 120 lb struts to replace the failed one on my hot tub cover. Original struts were 70lb struts and bought the stronger ones hoping they would help lift the cover easier. I find that these are about the same as the original 7 lb ones.The hardware they come with is solid and appears to be very good quality.

Not as strong as the ones I replaced with the same rating
Easy to install for multiple applications. I bought the same rating as I replaced and they will not hold my piano box lid open. The weight of the lid is under what the shocks are rated for. The only reason that I did not return them was I had smaller boxes to replace the shocks on as well so I used these lower performance shocks for those kids.
