Great razor. But no instructions on howTo fit the blade. Looking at the box it shows the JL logo the same side as the blades. It fits the other way round.

Let's start off with the no doubt Gillette Fusion is a good shaver. Entry point ie razor and a few blades is usually relatively low - under a tenner - to entice in as then refills are very expensive - around £20 / £25 for 10 depending how you shop. Shave gel is shave gel but Gillette will also charge you a brand premium for theirs. Back to price later.The conundrum surely is the concept of the razor as a gift set. All the well meaning proclaiming "good as a gift". Really? Has anyone ever been delighted to receive a razor and some gel as a present? If you are considering giving one consider that all men will have one already and may use a different brand, leaving out the complete lack of inspiration you will show by giving it. That just about leaves the young first shaver and given the Justice League tie in we probably have where this set sits and would likely be very well received.The razor itself is smart, all shiny smooth black with a little JL logo on the bottom. The box is black and broody but other than that standard stuff.So price. Well the contents without the snazzy redesign of the razor add up to about £12 based on buying individually and based on what offers are usually available. So that's a 60% ish hike on price for the pleasure of a box and a supposed gift wrap.Doubtless there's a market but if you are one of those who think this is perfect giftware may be best find a time machine and get yourself back to 1974.
