Amazing Colour...
...but since they changed the ingredients (a couple of years ago?), the colour doesn't attach nearly as well.This is true of the entire Casting Creme & Nice N Easy ranges unfortunately.I hope the chemical/s they ditched were done so for environmental reasons, not just because perhaps simply their cost price went up?

Best of all is its a natural tonal colouration
I was so looking forward to this. I read a few reviews that suggest it is nearly black - I disagree.I think it is a little darker that the image on the box above, but that is with light shining on it - so it is dark brown, but not close to black - black is black - it has a striking element to it and this is very natural looking. A nice colour, but I will be purchasing black to add a few low lights and darken it a bit more.It is definitely not a solid block colour - it tones the hair - which brings me to grey. How well does it cover grey? - well it has toned my grey - that is good in my opinion - there is no grey, there is a brown tone instead, a lighter brown.Why are all dye conditioners better than daily conditioners? This is no different, soft, smooth, silky, great shine, looks healthy, smells nice. Four stars because it does in fact come with a honey conditioner not a coconut conditioner as advertised, not that I care.I can not fault it. What I like best is the natural tonal effect - so I am really pleased

Long-Lasting Colour
Bought this semi-perm dye to cover greys during lockdown. It definitely did the job, and the colour was almost exactly what I expected from the box.It does last longer than the 28 washes though. Everyone's hair type is different, but this colour has lasted 6 weeks so far and my hair is still a light plum (it started off dark and has gradually lightened over time). Great coverage was good, I've only just started to see them poking back through, so might have to colour this again... I'll wait another week or so to wash out more of the colour, although it feels like it'll be there for a while.Maybe this is actually a permanent hair dye?

Easy to use, covers grey, nice smell, natural colour
This is the only semi permanent dye I've ever used. I have black hair and am starting to see more and more Grey's that can't be hidden by changing my partline anymore! Easy to use. Didn't find that it stained skin. No strong smell. Covers Grey's surprisingly well. Nice shine to the colour and looks so natural no one could tell I'd dyed my hair. One thing I will say is that it lasts longer than I thought it would. After 2-3 months I could see root regrowth but the mid to lengths were still black. My hairdresser has advised me to just colour the roots next time. And to only run colour through mid lengths to ends every now and then

Great product but gloves far too small
I do like this product; it's easy to use and the smell isn't overly strong. It also doesn't seem to damage my hair.I've been using this for many years but this time the gloves no longer fit so I had to apply the product with my bare hands, hence 4 stars instead of 5.

Semi-permanent colour as expected from the brand
I've bought this for my partner. We used buy a different brand colour, but in the current situation, we struggled to find it or anything else online. This colour came at a reasonable price. However, in terms of application in the long term, there is little difference between semi-permanent and permanent hair colour. With the semi-permanent actually it doesn't colour hair roots as well as permanent. However, taking everything into account it serves its purpose.

Hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions. Read and follow instructions. This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. Temporary \"black henna\" tattoos may increase your risk of allergy. Do not colour your hair if: You have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp. You have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair. You have experienced a reaction to a temporary \"black henna\" tattoo in the past. You must do a skin allergy test without fail 48 hours before each use of this product (read and follow the instruction leaflet). Remember to buy this product in advance in order to do the skin allergy test 48 hours before use. The developer creme contains hydrogen peroxide. The creme colourant contains phenylenediamines (toluenediamines) and resorcinol. Avoid contact of the product with eyes. Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse eyes immediately and thoroughly if product comes into contact with them. Wear the gloves supplied in the box. Rinse hair well after application. Wait at least 2 weeks after using a relaxer, a perm or a straightening process on the hair. Do not use if your hair has been coloured with henna or with a progressive hair colourant. Keep out of reach of children. Follow the instruction leaflet.
