Love this film ....one of my favourites....made for USA. Have to play it on my laptop...

I am in the Uk and do actually have a multi region player. This movie is my favourite of all time, I have at least 4 copies of it in case something happens and I cant buy another.It is a beautiful feel good movie, it is extremely moving at the beginning when one of the troops is killed.Cody Cullen's journey begins after he is sent a christmas card from s woman called Faith.After the guy in his regiment is killed he is given leave,firstly to go see the soldier's widow, then he sets out to find Faith and the beautiful town in which she lives.I wont give the story away as I don't want to spoil it.I will never every tire of this movie,I have watched it dozens of times, and I have to say I am totally in love with John Newton who plays Cody, how simply gorgeous is he,he's the best looking guy I have ever seen and I am getting on a bit.A wonderful film I would recommend to everyone and not just at Christmas.

This film is by far the best Christmas film I have seen in many years. It is absolutely a must for your personal collection.It will be a "CLASSIC." When I first saw it I couldn't stop watching it. It is a film you could watch over and over again,and it is based on real life.This U.S.ARMY Regiment is based in Afghanistan,one of the lads gets Christmas Cards from his church back home in the States.He gives it to his Sgt,who hasn't any family.The Sgt. falls in love with the girl who sent it.The Regiment go through a bad time and the Sgt. is ordered home on leave.He goes to find this girl and her family, because they have been his life-line home.When he gets there he has got a problem. Namely the girls boyfriend. Watch the film to find out if the Sgt. get's the girl.

Got this after I watched it on television and HAD TO HAVE IT ! Even though I live in the U.K. I am still able to get stuff like this from back home ( U.S.A.) and watch it over here ...HOOORAY because trying t find this over here is a pain ! I received it quickly packaged great no slippage of DVD in case and I have watched it over and over until, I know it by heart. You don't necc. have to watch it at Christmas to enjoy it because the story line is that GREAT. If you love your Veterans and love to see them fall in love and have a happy ending THIS IS A MUST HAVE!

I was really pleased to be able to get this lovely film and it came pretty quickly - I had not realised that it was in an American format and so would not play - I wanted therefore to return it but they said I had to return it to USA - despite the fact that it had been sent to me from an address in Surrey - they were really quite rude - It was obviously not worth my while returning it to USA so I have a useless DVD. They maintain the it was clearly labelled but I know it was not - even though there is more labelling now. When I asked why I could not return it to Surrey they said it was not there 'policy' which frankly is the answer I got to every question - I would never buy from them again - If you buy online you need to be sure you will be treated fairly and I was not

First of all, i was very happy with the speedy delivery. I ordered The Christmas Card for my Dad's Christmas at the start of December and it came a bout a week before Christmas! I know it can take a long time for posting over from America and i appreciate you getting my dvd to me before Christmas.My Dad loves cheesy Hallmark movies and really loves this movie. He was dissapointed that it wasn't on this Christmas because it had been on for the last 2 or 3 years. For a wee surprise, i found this on Amazon and was delivered on time. You should've seen his face when he opened it. I know what you're thinking, "that's pretty lame that a grown man would be filled with emotion just because he got some cheesy Hallmark style film". I know what you mean and i'm pretty sure that he isn't gay.As for the movie itself, it is pretty heartwarming and the acting isn't half bad in my opinion.The only downside in my purchase is that it wont play in the main DVD he has over here in Scotland, but it does play on his laptop.Thanks for making my Dad's Christmas!

i loved the christmas card i have watched it time after time never grow tired of the film,love the cast ,john newton is my all time favourite xmas film i hope its on again this year!i can only record it as it is region 1 here in the uk,its 2 .shame i have tryed to buy it but no joy.as i said its a feelgood factor film,i think i fell in love with john newton,silly me ,pity he has not done more films,,barbara j dumbleton london england..

I have not watched the movie as yet but its one of my favorites so will soon even though its a christmas movie. I've wanted my own for years now.

I enjoyed the book as it brought back many old memories

Dommage que ce petit bijou bien que diffusé en France sous le titre : " la ou la magie commence" ne soit pas sorti en vf. Mais la vo est excellente. Attention cependant pas de sous titres même en anglais.
