The grill seasoning worked well and will buy again

**AWEASROY Griddle Seasoning for Blackstone and Cast Iron** **Essential for a Perfectly Seasoned Griddle—Keeps Your Cookware Non-Stick and Clean** I’ve been using the AWEASROY Griddle Seasoning on my Blackstone griddle, and it has quickly become a must-have for maintaining my cooking surface. This seasoning is not only great for initial seasoning but also for ongoing maintenance, ensuring that my griddle stays in top shape and ready for any cooking challenge. **What I Liked:** - **Effective Seasoning and Protection**: The AWEASROY Griddle Seasoning does an excellent job of creating a durable, non-stick layer on my Blackstone griddle. After a few applications, I noticed a significant improvement in the non-stick quality of the cooking surface, which makes cooking and cleanup much easier. The seasoning also protects the griddle from rust and wear, extending its lifespan and keeping it looking like new. - **Versatile Use**: While I primarily use it on my Blackstone griddle, this seasoning is also perfect for other cast iron and carbon steel cookware. I’ve used it on my cast iron skillet and a carbon steel wok with equally great results. It’s a versatile product that can be used across different types of cookware, making it a valuable addition to any kitchen. - **Easy Application**: The 7-ounce container is just the right size for multiple applications, and the seasoning is easy to apply. A little goes a long way, so the container lasts a good while. The seasoning spreads evenly across the surface, and it’s simple to rub it in with a cloth or paper towel. After heating the griddle, the seasoning bonds well, creating a smooth, protective layer. - **Maintains Non-Stick Surface**: Regular use of this seasoning helps maintain the non-stick surface of the griddle, even after heavy use. I’ve been able to cook a variety of foods—everything from eggs to burgers—without sticking, which is a testament to the seasoning’s effectiveness. It’s great for keeping the griddle in prime cooking condition. - **Enhances Flavor**: One of the unexpected benefits of using this seasoning is that it seems to enhance the flavor of the food cooked on the griddle. The seasoning contributes to a well-seasoned surface that adds a subtle, delicious flavor to whatever I’m cooking. It’s an added bonus that makes meals taste even better. **What I Didn’t Like:** - **Requires Frequent Reapplication**: To maintain the best non-stick surface, the seasoning needs to be reapplied regularly, especially if you use your griddle often. While this is standard for cast iron and carbon steel maintenance, it does require a bit of extra effort. However, the results are well worth the time spent. - **Not Scent-Free**: The seasoning has a slight odor when first applied, especially during the initial heating process. It’s not unpleasant, but it is noticeable. The smell dissipates after a short while and doesn’t affect the taste of the food. If you’re sensitive to smells, it might be something to be aware of during application. - **Container Design**: The container is functional but basic, with no special features like a nozzle or applicator. You’ll need to pour the seasoning out carefully to avoid using too much at once. A more controlled dispensing option would be a nice improvement, but it’s a minor issue considering the quality of the product. **Bottom Line:** The AWEASROY Griddle Seasoning is an essential product for anyone who owns a Blackstone griddle, cast iron skillet, or carbon steel cookware. It effectively creates and maintains a non-stick surface, protects against rust, and enhances the overall performance of your cooking equipment. While it requires regular reapplication and has a slight initial odor, these are minor considerations compared to the benefits it provides. If you’re looking to keep your griddle or cast iron in top condition, this seasoning is a fantastic choice. It has made a noticeable difference in the quality of my cooking and the ease of cleaning, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to care for their cookware properly!

I recently started using the Griddle Seasoning for my Blackstone, cast iron, and carbon steel cookware, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer. Works well

Great

Great product.

Same as a lot of reviewers... I was excited for my first griddle ... excited to take good care of it and season it like suggested, but the moment I put 1tbsp, BOOM!! Big flame just burst up, in a panic I tried to spread it evenly and failed due to the high flames. Now my brand new griddle has multiple black/burnt spots. DO NOT BUY THIS HAZARDOUS PRODUCT.

Wenn man es auf eine heiße Platte drauf macht zum einbrennen dann fängt es sofort an zu brennen

Does the job but a little on the expensive side.
