iPhone 8 Case, iPhone 7 Case, Anker KARAPAX Rise Case Hybrid Heavy-Duty Protection with 360° Rotating Kickstand for Apple 4.7 in iPhone 8 (2017) / iPhone 7 (2016)

First impression is that this is a sturdy case. It looks good. Every part of it seems to be well constructed.I haven’t drop tested it so I don’t know how well it protects. But my impression is that it will. I have also paired it with the Anker tempered glass. So hopefully, it will protect.I like the stand feature. Personally , I don’t need it as a carabiner attachment. I would prefer it to act as a stand only, and not stick out past the edge.Criticisms:The biggest flaw with this case is that it is somewhat slick to hold. It has what they call “total touch technology” which I assume is marketing speak for “if you relax your grip for a split second, the phone will slip out of your hand.” My solution to this was to take 50 grit sandpaper and scratch up the case. This helps. Now my case looks like it was dragged down the street. But I can grip it without inflaming my carpal tunnel.Another no-no is that the metal clip touches the lightning cable.I expect that over time this will damage the cable, the port, or both. I will probably end up filing it down.How they could make it better:1, Adding some texture to the edge and back bevel. Pebbling or perpendicular ridges or would make it easier to hold.2. Modify the carabiner attachment so it doesn’t touch the lightning cable.3. (personal preference) Drop the carabiner attachment entirely, and replace it with a stand only.

This is one well made case. The TPU interior combined and the polycarbonate exterior is exactly as advertised and give the phone a very high level of protection. The raised edges actually sit above the glass screen protector I have on the phone. The camera lens, flash and sensor are very well protected against any scratches. The back is somewhat raised below the camera in a "v" pattern. The back has a very high quality carbon fiber design blended with the red accents. Their is an alloy kickstand that rotates 360 degrees and is inset into a cavity in the back. It snaps down so it doesn't move around. This is not a flimsy kickstand... it is very substantial. Again... exactly as advertised.This case is not a lightweight case. It is very substantial and does add some weight to the phone. But the fact is that if you want real protection against drops, you want something like this. All of the cut outs are perfectly placed and the buttons are very responsive. This is a very stylish case that is as well made a case as I have ever had on any phone. They also give you a carabiner in case you want to latch this to a backpack or a belt. Just a nice extra touch. (The kickstand does hang down just below the bottom of the case so you can use the carabiner.. but I don't see this as an issue for me.) I highly recommend the case as it has exceeded my expectations.

This is a very good looking case to start. Very protective but not over bulky, fits in pocket well. Have already dropped it several times and no damage. I didn't think I would use the kickstand feature much because I've never had that option before but I find myself using it all the time. I always try to buy Anker products because they are well made and long lasting and this is just another example. Definitely would recommend this one.

Had it for months now and it’s showing wear but the overall construct is good

This is for my wife's iphone 7. It fits perfectly and the buttons and ports align just right. She wears her phone on a lanyard around her neck and the loop on this case is the strongest I have ever found.

Excellent case. The kick stand is awesome. full 360 degree rotation is a nice feature. The protection is also excellent. So far been an awesome experience.

The red on this case starts turning black and looking dirty very quickly. Other than that a quality case.
