How do you get the whistle out of Alessi whistle tea pot to pour water - mine seems stuck!

If it seems stuck, just wiggle it and push in those little springs on the sides of the whistle... Try it with a potholder or towel, so you don't hurt your hand.

is the alessi logo on the side of the pot as shown in some photos?

It's s label that comes off. No logo on pot.

My kettle is making a hissing sound but no musical whistling when the water boils. Anyone else have this problem/find a solution?

I've experienced the same hiss-no-whistle with mine. I wonder if it is a chronic problem with these kettles. Handsome kettle AND expensive ... A whistle or even a tweet would be good. I hope someone might have insight to this.
