This compact HooToo stick is so simple to use, and so much better than the complications associated with the iTunes method for uploading and downloading to my iPad, I highly recommend this product, and also this supplier.

I must admit it has improved things for me: now transferring items between iPone and Mac is much easier. One specific folder however did not show on the Mac so I had to create another folder and transfer items into it before trying again: it worked. The caps at the two ends are attached with a little strap that is rigid and way too short, so the caps get annoyingly in the way when plugging into both the Mac or the phone. It has no hoop to attach it to a key ring. Speed is impressive. Haven't yet tried to download a movie into it to watch it on the phone.

I bought the HooToo 32GB USB 3.0 Memory Stick for my iPhone 7, as a back-up for when I went to a music festival in Hungary. Overall, it's a solid device, small and lightweight. It comes in a small presentation box; and each end of the device has a plactic cap, strapped to the USB with a silicon strip, so that the lids aren't lost! With my particular phone case, it does not work, so check before you buy if, unlike me, you don't intend to take the case off when you want to back-up. I took my screwdriver with me, to take the case off, purely to use my hootoo. I've also used it with my iPad mini 2, which also has a case, but less rugged, meaning I didn't have to take that particular case off to connect the hootoo!! You also need to download an app prior to using the HooToo stick. The app in itself is very easy to use/navigate; and you can transfer video/images back and forth between your mobile/tablet shoud you wish to. You can also back-up your contacts/the entire device; and forward images/videos to email, social media etc. It has a built-in media player, so you can re-watch or listen to your music/videos. All in all, this device is very good; and I would recommend it to anyone that needs to back-up their files, or free-up space.

I purchased this item so I could store documents and be able to view them using either a lap top or an iPad.The USB end works the same as any other USB memory stick when it's plugged into a computer, the iPad/iPhone end needs an app which is available for free from the App Store. When first inserted into and i device you are prompted to down load the free app, once done the app will allow you to read and view what is on the stick. It also allows moving/copying in both directions, from the stick to the i device and from the i device to the stick. Copying is very quick, I copied 10 photos which were all between 5 & 6 mp from the stick to my iPad in 12 seconds. All in all a great item which is easy to use and does the job perfectly.

I received this today, exactly as promised.This item is beautifully made. It's purpose is exactly what I need.In use, however, I have struggled with it. On plugging into my IPad Air - the system pointed me to the app store and ater dowloading the app I started to explore the stick and the means to use it.At first it failed to find my photos or Word documents. A read through the .pdf manual on the stick and I got there. Backed up my pictures to the stick memory and, after a few goes shifted my Word files. No indication they had mov.Removed the stick and plugged it into my Win 7 laptop.Slow recognition of the memory on the stick but got there.The layers to go through to find the picture files was about 6 but they were all there.So my initial impressions are mixed and a bit confused.The unit is so good in build quality I am not sure whether to worship it or just put a blue sign on the outside of my house to tell the world I have one. Even the box it came in is superb.Despite that I am not sure it will be kept or be sent back, today 17 June 2016!The app just screams out for a better interface. I am used to things happening so I know that my instructions have been ececuted. A bit too minimalist in execution.I wanted this for a shoot whereby I would use my Canon EOS750D through the IPad with the iOS Canon Connect App for viewing and remote shooting.After that back up to the Hoo Too unit for transfer to my main PC at home.If it all goes well then it will be part of my permant kit.So early days but I have high hopes. A LIGHTER BUT MORE COMPLETE photo bag is the aim - this set up 'may' just do the trick.I think the interface is, for me, lacking in clear functionslity. For iOS users it probably just works.The Hoo Too dive is brilliant but.......

Grabbed this to use solely for taking edited photo batches off my iPad mini (4th gen). Works great without issue and the 3.0 port is pretty speedy. The build quality of the adapter is excellent which I have grown to expect from hootoo. Packaging is always nice and apple product-ish. The companion app is straight forward although I do recommend a quick read of the user manual on it so you can see what all the adapter offers and "how-to". The only con I can find at this time is I do not like how the cap is attached by the rubber gasket. Takes a bit of situating to get it plugged into the tablet and I feel like the force from the cap pushing back against my iPad is going to push the adapter to the side in my charging port. Pretty sure this is an easy fix with just clipping the rubber. The cap will still snap on you just won't have it tethered to it.Overall, does its job and does it well

Once you get the hang of it - and it shouldn't take long - this memory stick is brilliant. It's easy to install, fast and has the added bonus that files can be hidden. The two covers are attached by straps that are a bit short and tend to get in the way but they won't get lost! I love it.

Excellent product, works seamlessly and very easy to use. Had a problem with transferring photos to my computer which would not open due to Apple using HEIC format instead of JPEG, customer services put me on the right track to change this on my phone. Excellent communication.

Calida/precio estupenda, de momento funciona a las mil maravillas, buena velocidad R/W, la aplicacion para usar la memoria en ios funciona muy bien y lee todo tipo de archivos multimedia, perfecto com almacenamiento externo de peliculas, compra recomendable.

Me a funcionado un par de veces y de repente no lo detecta el ordenador ni ningun otro dispositivo.si a alguien le hubiera pasado lo mismo y me pudiera ayudar lo agradeceria
