Indesit IS41V Freestanding C Rated Vented Tumble Dryer - White [Energy Class C]

I needed a small machine that would sit close against the wall. This one is just right because it vents forward (i.e. into the room). I've been using it since December, so winter and summer, and have never needed to attach the vent hose that came with the machine. I don't dry a huge amount, so don't know what it would be like with load after load of wet towels, but in our big kitchen, one regular load doesn't seem to increase the humidity at all. It's a simple little beast and works very well. It has an 'anti-tangle' motion which, now that I think about it, probably does make a difference (compared to my previous machine, which did not have that feature). Criticisms? The electric cord is rather short - obviously 'expects' the socket to be behind, beside, or above the machine and to remain permanently plugged in. As this dryer is small and moveable enough to tuck into an odd corner, I'm probably not the only person who has to use an extension cord. Also - this is nit-picking, but it bothers me - there are no hooks on the back of the dryer for winding the cord, just three "holes" into which you can sort-of 'hang' the three-pin plug (so that you can feel for it when standing in front of the machine, and find it without having to move the dryer out). Hmmm; a bit 'mickey mouse' - but I'm delighted with this dryer as a dryer(!) and give it five stars anyway. Apparently 4 stars mean "I like it" and 5 stars mean "I love it". I more-than-like it.

I bought this to replace my old one which had stopped working after about 5 years of daily use. I wanted the same model as I'd been happy with the previous one. The dryer is the perfect size to fit in a small space & is a front vented machine so i just put the hose out of the window when in use. It's easy to use with 2 heat settings & a timer dial & dries clothes, towels & bedding really well.

Bought this to replace and old tumble dryer of the same size that had finally given up the ghost... My partner was over the moon with this one, easy to to use, very efficient and excellent value for money. Also arrived before expected date. 10 out of 10.

Started off O.K nice and quiet with a small test load of two worn bath towels, gradually got noisier and was making a load grating noise that even to a deaf old fart like me was irritating. Had to send back to Amazon which was a shame because size wise it was perfect for what we required.

Small and compact just what I needed for my small flat, does the job brilliantly, easy to use.

I would have given it four stars but 1) it's a bit smaller than I anticipated and 2) I was under the impression it was a condenser dryer when in fact it has a condenser facility (a hose and box to gather water) Other than that, a great little dryer, very efficient and runs quietly. All things considered, good value for money and prompt, free delivery.
