My 10 y.o. granddaughter is learning to sew. I bought this for her birthday and filled it with several spools of thread, needles, scissors, measuring tape, etc. She loves it and uses it every day.

This sewing container is a very nice purple color, has loads of room, and included a pin cushion for your wrist and soft padded, Velcro dividers.Thread, scissors, sewing tools are clearly stated "NOT included" in the descriptions first paragraph.I want to love it more than I do.The design is great, lots of storage, and pockets, along with an area for handled items like seam rippers, chalk, metal hemming measure ruler... or crochet hooks if you are using it to keep your yarn organized.But the materials used to construct the bag leaves a bit to be desired.The zipper (although metal) has a few places it sticks. I will be applying wax to those areas.The bag itself collapses, I may have to line it myself with cut cardboard glue-gunned into place.Each zipper has dual pulls so you can open it from either side, but really did not need that on a small case.The handle is sewn on very well, really reinforced with stitching.The case feels like it is textured vinyl. Looks like it can be easily cleaned.I am sure I can get it to stop collapsing into itself, as I plan to use it for my sewing kit, I have tons of stuff and the volume may take care of that issue, I am going through 3 boxes to select what I use most and transfer it to this bag/case.However I feel that the consumer should not have to adjust/add items to fix design of a product. This is why I cannot give 5 stars.Would be perfect with some kind of bracing in the corners.

This is softsided so keeping it upright might be hard. As it tells in the information "Sewing Assessories NOT Included". So don't expect a filled sewing kit. There is a pin coushion but you might get stabbed by the pins since there is nothing hard on the bottom to prevent the pins from sticking you. It is made of a canvas like material. It has double zipper pulls so you can open it anyway you like. The zippers seem to work fine but because it has been collapsed it is hard to pull sometimes in spots. I think when it has a more normal shape that will fix. I am a bit concerned about the netting on the pockets for sharp things like seam rippers and scissors. Seems like that would be really easy to tear. Seems like it would hold more than my current hard sided sewing kit . If this fails to be a suitable sewing kit it would work for other crafty things too. Knitting crochet bead work jewelry making painting or drawing. I will update if I have any issues that would effect buying it.

It's a little difficult to get started, but once you get the bottom compartment situated this bag holds a lot of items. The Velcro dividers work well in the bottom, but the bag is not stiff enough to stand on its own, so it takes a little finesse to get them situated how you want. The zippers work well, and the outer fabric is heavy duty. If you want a sewing box that won't take up as much room, this one should work for you.

It's Still a piece of junk the picture depicted it had items with it and it clearly does not so its not worth 5 dollars let alone 25. People do not waste your hard earned dollars.

This has been great to have. I've changed what to use it for several times because it's so versatile. I love the separate sections so you organize things better. I really might have to get another one of these. The pockets & divider are great as well. Just as a whole this will help you organize & there's so much you can use it. It's a great gift idea too.

Extremely difficult to load with sewing supplies, as soft sides do not stand up straight and keep collapsing inward. Spools of thread slide all around, even with dividers (which also don’t stay in place). Plenty of space, but way too difficult to set up for a “simple” organizer. Zipper stuck a lot. Came with pincushion but did not come with the scissors, etc that listing indicated. Returned.
