Fixes lost fillings
Having to wait two months to get a dental appointment, I had to do something to fix my list filling. Luckily this product is very handy, following the instructions heat it up in hot water and quickly roll a piece in humour hand and squish it not the lost filling hole. The filing quickly hardens and protests the damaged tooth until you ca. Get it fixed.

It worked and my crown is still in place 2 months later
Thanks to Covid 19 lockdown my dentist was shut and my gold inlay crown had fallen out. Luckily I have dentist friends and they advised me to properly clean and dry the tooth and surrounding area before applying the crown and fixative. I brushed my teeth, rinsed and then rubbed a clean towel over the tooth. I then rubbed cotton wool over my gums surrounding the area. I then rolled up a wad of cotton wool just like they do in the dentist and pushed that down on each side of the tooth to keep my tongue away and the area dry. The whole time I kept my mouth open and made sure I didn't wet the area with saliva (spit) or my tongue. Following the application instructions I didn't eat or drink for an hour. I'm genuinely pleased with the long lasting results. Key to success is properly drying the area of application before applying the fixative and they don't make this clear in the instructions, this is my only criticism!

Good for temporary fix
Easy to use but not last long. Used it 3 times. Sometimes a few weeks. Lastest one, almost 2 months.

So far so good after 3 days
Bought this product to try and protect a tooth where half a filling had come away. This meant the tooth was in danger of breaking, and with all dentists currently closed to anything other than extreme emergencies this provided a possible solution. There are clear instructions about how to use the product, but did find the time recommended for softening prior to application was not nearly long enough. Consequently some was completely wasted; however there is still enough for another application of necessary. It has now been in situ for three days, and whilst I am treating it with caution, all is well so far. I appreciated the quick delivery and value for money.

useless
This item absolutely useless.... I have lost a small corner filling from my front tooth, this did not soften enough to use, it is super white so no good for blending into front tooth repair ! the product went hard as soon as you removed it from the hot water , did not soften between fingers as it suggests on the instructions for use ?? and would not grip to front tooth at all ! , maybe ok for back molar temp filling ? but utterly useless for cosmetic fix for front tooth ! Also paid ยฃ17.99 with express delivery for this item, This sells for ยฃ2 in Home&Bargain ! Total waste of money !

Brilliant
I would highly recommend buying this, my filling had come out and due to lockdown unable to get it seen to so my tooth had started falling apart and was extremely painful, could barely eat or sleep, I called my dentist and he recommended tooth cement, there were so many different ones I was not sure but I stumbled on this and it has been nearly 2 weeks now and it is still intact!! still try to avoid eating on it but I have been able to eat ice cream and have hot drinks :) I would highly recommend watching a youtube video instead of reading instructions, there is a 2 min video on how to use this product to so took me all of 5 mins to do it myself, also if it does come out there is plenty more left to replace it. I had used this for the filling so not sure about the crown filling.

Always keep a box handy
Take with you on holiday etc. always have one in the house for emergencies, and, incase of any more lockdowns. I happened to have a box here which I gave to my son in law as his filling fell out in March during the lockdown when dentists weren't allowed to do fillings. Toofy pegs just about kept him going for months. He finally got the filling replaced in September - if it weren't for Toofypegs he would have been in even more agony. The dentist said this is the best bet for an emergency. They do tend to fall out after a couple of days though - obvs they are only meant to be temporary.

Not easy to use for back teeth, fell out as soon as I ate.
Found this difficult to use for back teeth. Not easy to soften and hardens too quickly, before you've managed to get in place. Managed to put it in last night, but about 12 hours later (which includes 8 hours sleep) it all came out, basically as soon as I ate something.
