Habitrail OVO Suite Hamster Habitat

I brought this cage at first because i liked the look of it. After purchasing this product I started to read the reviews, and was worried I had just wasted money. I could never have been more wrong, this cage is amazing.My syrian hamster used to gnaw her water bottle, and in the end gnawed a giant hole in her ferplast cage (which was a waste of money). But since she has been in her new habitrail ovo, she hasnt attempted to gnaw anything except the cardboard maze, also the design makes it impossible for her to gnaw the cage. This has made her more tame and a lovely little hamster.The design is genius, and all the extras are just amazing. The lock connectors are brilliant. I've read a lot of reviews about escaping hamsters, and how the cage is not escape proof. Ignore those comments, my hamster truely was the ultimate escape artist until now. The reviews about gravity and cage not staying up are also extremely false. Reading these reviews and not purchasing the ovo would be a big mistake.I would highly recommend this product to anyway, it's a very good investment. I also highly recommend the extras, you and your hamster will never be bored.

I bought this cage based on others reviews and I am so glad I did.I have a Syrian hamster and she is fully grown and there is plenty of room for her to roam around.This cage was very easy to put together and I love the fact that I can easily access my hamster from either the main play compartment (orange section) or from the sleeping area/carry case (blue section) these can be seen in the photos, this also makes it super easy to clean.This cage also comes with a blue drinking bottle which is super easy to refill and a smaller compartment, which I am using for food (green section), this also has its own door so makes it easy to refil the food.The main orange compartment also includes a wheel and stairs/tunnel which my hamster loves playing on.It’s very simple to detach the blue carry case compartment making it easier for my son to carry Holly into the lounge for cuddles, this is also perfect should you need to take your hammy to the vets.Apart from a few minor scratches to the inside of the orange compartment Holly the hammy and I are very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this cage

*****DO NOT BUY THIS DANGEROUS CAGE. ***our beloved hamster fell to his death as the locking mechanism snapped on his second night in it. We will be pursuing the company themselves on this one. Disgusted isn’t quite the word for it. Flawed in several places. The wheel has massive holes that would break a hamsters legs, the water bottle is so high up our larger Syrian couldn’t stretch his back enough to reach water. It’s way too small.

okkai so I review this product as 5 starts and thought it was brilliant but that was before I got my hamster (whoopi) and now relies that there's a few issues with it which to be honest doesn't really bother me that much but the biggest problem I have is that even though I brought two cages it's still too small and can't even fit her toys in so know that means she bored and keeps scraching&biting the plastic. even though she hasn't gotten out ( fingers cross she doesn't ) the box does say that it's escape prove But honesty if she tries hard enough there's a 50/50 percent chance she could get out those are my biggest problems with this product. There are other issues with it but they don't really bother me but every ones opinions Are different and it's only fair that buyers know. the bed or hidie hole is to small for a Syrian hamster so whoopi never uses it , it's also very difficult and really awkward to get at the feeding bowl due to the fact the back cage door doesn't lift high enough and sticks every time you try to close it and you can't reacher the bowl from the front because the wheel is too awkward to disconnect it from the stairs so it just blocks the feeding bowl but whoopi only moves it all in to the den any ways lol ,she also had trouble finding and drinking from the water bottles but after putting them on a slant she quickly figured it out , the cage does get over heated but that's only when it's in direct sun lite which it shouldn't be any ways because hamsters like to be kept in dull lighting as you can see in the pictures .( I've added photos of whoopi and her cage so buyers can see how it looks once it's all put together.also you can see where she kicked all the bedding on the one side because it's where she been biting at to try to get out plus also though that it didn't have bars the bedding and food wouldn't get kicked every where how wrong was I ) 🙄

It's absolutely brilliant and our gerbils love it.It's sturdy and its like they have their own little gym .Very surprised when we opened the box and how much was in there !!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It is such a pretty and unusual piece of kit but was let down with the build instructions and also the fact the hamster escaped from one of the pods within1 1/2 days of moving and in!! Luckily, I was close by when it happened and managed to get her back in the system.

Bought for our dwarf hamster and love it. It is still suitable for dwarfs but they cannot get up the tubes........but......I laid them flat which he loved, but then it took up too much space, so I just took them out, now all but the tubes, so would recommend you buy a different version with less tubes if for a dwarf.WHY WE LOVE ITThe design is brilliantLots of space for himHe loves going in the different rooms and under the stairsPutting food at the top of the stairs or treats is a great boredom breakerWater is great design, easy to change and less messEasy to get them out, they come up to you and crawl on your handUnsure why you need the rear section to come up, its difficult to put food in there

This looks lovely and the mice loved it but it is a pain to assemble, the connections are weak and falls apart if you try to move it.It takes forever to clean and every time you take it apart to clean it the connectors get looser. Went back to a regular cage with toys in the end.

La jaula esta amplia para un hamster pero los puntos malos que note es que el bebedero gotea mucho y deja su chorro de agua y no hay tanta ventilacion en la jaula para el roedor

Excelente elección! Me encanta la haulita imita la hábitat natural de los pequeños inquilinos. Se pueden observar a través de los tubos transparentes. Es muy completa,fácil de montar y se puede modificar añadiendo nuevos habitaculos. Queda bastante atractivo a la vista y los hámsters parecen contentos.

I ordered this set for my hamster and he loves it! I had to put the tubes at an angle as my hammy is still a baby and wasnt able to climb straight up, but it works awesome! He loves to run through the tubes and check out all the little rooms and spaces! Also, I shopped around and this is an amazing price!

Habe ich für meine Kinder gekauft, Auch ich hatte früher ein altes Habitrail System. Das ganze Gelaber über Tierquälerei kann man sich sparen. Ist super unendlich auszubauen. Klasse zu reinigen und der Hamster hat mehr als genug Platz. Klare Kaufempfehlung

A part un ennui avec une pièce manquante et le couvercle transparent fendu (amazon a remplacé la cage sans problème), cette cage est parfaite. Le hamster s'éclate dedans, cela reproduit vraiment son habita naturel, avec des tunnels et des pièces différentes. La roue tourne bien, par contre l'espace prévu pour la nourriture n'est pas accessible une fois la cage montée...Il est possible de nettoyer les tubes avec le tuyau de l'aspirateur (enlever le hamster avant !!), il est aussi possible d'agrandir la cage en connectant plusieurs cages (différents modèles disponibles).
