I've had this for about 6 months now and last night my daughter had her first bed wetting accident... And her mattress was soaked! This didn't do anything at all, like having a normal sheet! I'm now spending my whole day trying to clean her brand new mattress! Don't waste your money on this!

Received my King-size waterproof mattress protector yesterday 16/02/2016. Delivery to Northern Ireland was very quick too.I purchased this king size waterproof mattress protector for my Double adjustable automatic bed. My mattress is a Tempur mattress which cost £2000.00 so ideally I wanted to keep this expensive mattress in pristine condition.I have read many reviews on this product before I went ahead and purchased this item. Some reviews were very helpful! And others were not so helpful? I must admit that this is the first time and night using the product, however I will update my review later accordingly to my overall rating of the product after washing etc.........I purchased this product because I went with the positive reviews rather than the negative one's!I do have incontinence problems due to being injured in a car accident. This is why I had to get an automatic adjustable bed.My Automatic adjustable bed is a double bed, but I need to use King size bedding Ie sheets etc....Because I am sure that you can appreciate that with the bed being automatic and adjustable it would seem to be better to have the mattress protector a bit larger than the bed. As you need to allow for movement etc......Fitting the mattress protector was very easy and it took the king size for my Double adjustable automatic bed. I purchased two of these as the positive reviews was really good on the product and they helped me a lot with making my decision to purchase myself.The product it's self is made from a towelling fabric and is quite comfortable to lie on. I have also purchased Tempur mattress protector's before and these were £50.00. But I didn't like the Tempur one's because they make you sweat very badly and also feels very crinkly too.So this Mattress protector verses Tempur I would verymuch prefer this one without a doubt!I haven't opened the second one which I purchased from Amazon UK marketplace website yet?But hoping to get a look at it in the next day or so.......Lots of reviews which are negative one's say that the mattress protector is noisy. I would verymuch disagree with this as I am lying on it now it feels breathable fabric with the added advantage of it being waterproof too.I would verymuch recommend this product and if like me you are purchasing this for an automatic adjustable bed? My advice would be go a size bigger than the bed.Ie Single - DoubleDouble - King sizeEct..........This is to allow for movement when the bed is raised and lowered etcI also think that the product is very reasonable price for what it is.As I have already said that delivery was very quick. Thanks to Amazon UK marketplace website for selling yet another quality product.I am a very Happy customer so far?I haven't read any other reviews where the product was used on an automatic adjustable bed?So I hope my review helps others to make their own choice in what is the best mattress protector for them?Thanks for reading my reviewRob.

Not sure what sat say about this really, I have had lots of these and in general they have served me well. My boys don’t wet the bed but they are soft, not like the old fashioned plastic sheets so I always keep one on their beds since you never know with kids. I’m not sure if it was a new one I opened this time, but something went wrong. I don’t change these every time I strip beds since I use it more as a mattress protector so it might wait till the week after but this time I put on a regular 40 wash and it just melted. They usually go in a 40 wash and then dry over clothes horse and have been fine in the past and all it says on the label is machine wash and doesn’t specify temperature but as I say they’ve always been fine in the past.....maybe I just got a dodgy one?

bought this because looking after friend with Alzheimer issues who was starting to struggle with pad leakage, so didn't want the mattress getting wet.excellent product, no massive noise issue when rolling and turning friend on the mattress, fits snug so no ruckingwash excellent, the only thing I would say is best not putting them in dryer which may be a hindrance if you have to change the bed numerous times. Other than that great product

Mine didn't fit my double mattress. It was short on the top waterproof part buy about 2 inches in width. It was also short and tight on the mattress depth at the sides so it was really hard to keep in place as it wouldn't tuck at all under the corners. The sides went about half way down the side of my mattress...therefore moves around.It also had 'ladder holes' which spread when fitted as I think the wrong needle had been used to stitch the item. Usually a ball point needle is used on this material and then wouldn't create small holes on each needle entry.I still used this item but I used it underneath a different waterproof cover to ensure it stayed on the mattress.The price of the item was cheaper than my others, so I didn't complain, but I would've preferred to pay a little more and have one that fit correctly and without the holes.The seller did despatch quickly though...so I would still buy different items from this seller.

Very sorry to say that the very first time my son wet the bed on this, it not only went through this mattress protector but through the duvet underneath it to the mattress below (the duvet was for extra padding). Yes, it was a big wee, but this let through a lot of it. Sending it back.

We have bought many of these for the accommodation we provide to homeless families. All of the beds have them. They wash really well and last well too. Not many waterproof mattress protectors are comfortable, but these are, and they really aren't noisy as the description says!
