story is not that great but the size and standard of the croc is great hence top marks. I can easily get my hand in and it is big enough to pull faces with it and make it into a realistic character for children.

A ridiculously abridged version of a Classic
So... it came to pass that after so many loved thick volumes that had to be met with the notorious bed of Procrustes for lazy pupils to consume, in a pitiful attempt to culture, now we come to the generation-C version of it...?!Folks, this book is not abridged -- it is missing pages!!! The Swedish version we had was crammed with sizzling action *spoiler alert*In the ...original the croc has a bad tooth and asks of a HOARD of animals to go in his mouth and have a look at the aching tooth.... not unexpectedly he gulps each one down. Now as one sees even in the page before last of this monstrosity the croc eats up a fish, a bird, a frog, a warthog, and in an ever escalating climax the zebra!!! But alas, NOT IN THIS VERSION. "A fish and the zebra are enough for the English-speaking audiences" must have thought the good people at "Imagine That Group Ltd" (really people, if I had known you would not have now my hard-earned SEK...) and leave both storyteller and audience bebaffled with a query:if the croc ate only a fish and a zebra, why are so many other animals jumping out of his mouth???
