Review: An Excellent Devotional For Christian Women Grieving The Loss Of A Baby - There are SO many good things I could say about this book, but the one that really stands out the most to me is the Soul Work sections, in which the author gives the reader suggestions on simple things to do or think about. For example, we all know that when tragedy strikes, many people around us simply do not know how to help us. Inevitably, they will say all the wrong things. One of the author's suggestions is to write these hurtful things down on a piece of paper, mark them out with a marker, and then throw the paper away. It's the simple things in life that seem to help the most, and this author seems to really get this fact and works to help the reader through simple activities or simple thoughts to ponder, that just don't seem to be coming to mind all that easily during tragedy. Along with her thorough understanding of child loss grief and how to lovingly reassure and comfort someone struggling with it, she also has a clear love for God and His Holy Word. The Scriptures she includes go along well with what she discusses, and help bring to mind that no one who has God is ever truely alone. I recommend this book to any Christian woman grieving the loss of a baby. Others may also find answers here, on how to better understand and help the women in their lives who are grieving the loss of a baby. As it is written on the back of the book, what you will find here is absolutely "Christ-filled comfort" during a time of great loss.

Lovely book
This book really helped me after my loss. Highly recommend for the grieving mother. Nothing will make the pain go away but this will help heal the wound a little bit.

Makes You Feel Less Alone. Offers Comfort. Good advice.
I gave this along with another book and package of (teas, spa things, memorable necklaces, ornaments, personalized art, teas, chocolates, Kari Jobe in the Garden CD, lavender petals, candles, etc..(trying to give combinations that go well together for those of you who are looking at ways to help a loved one or yourself, dear sweet momma..)) to my close friend who lost her baby at 39 weeks. I read through most of it to confirm that it would be meaningful and appropriate for her. It was. I appreciated that it used bible verses from more than one version to make sure it was the best wording of the translation, but also that it was also printed out as to not confuse anyone. I also thought it was very nice how the Bible was so well accented, and yet the reading was focused on offering comfort and day to day advice. I think people who donโt necessarily Believe in God might still find this comforting (although it definitely does apply the Bible.) My dear Friend told me that my gift to her was a gift from Heaven, and she read LOVED BABY in about a week and had started the other that I gave her. She said she LOVED it and the other as far as she had gotten. LOVED BABY can be read over and over or referred to. It can be taken slowly or read fast too. Get this ASAP to the sweet mom or dad who needs it. The author and reviewers know what they are talking about. They went through similar scenarios, which helps make the reader feel less alone. I also liked that this has a ribbon book marker attached!

Loved Baby 2021
I really love this book , It really helped me in one of the hardest time of my life . I loss my daughter back in 2021 and I almost lost my life as well. I had no desire for life after that. The pain was so bad I didn't want to live anymore, but through this book and making videos for myself to relieve myself the pain until I got therapy really helped. It's hurt wound but I'm finding my purpose as I walk through this pain . Out of all of that I gained another baby girl. I hope this help someone else.

High recommendation!
A few friends gave this to me in a difficult time. God was able to use it in amazing ways - helping me navigate emotions that I was unaware that I needed to process yet. I have been left very grateful to have had the opportunity to read this. A few months later, I have been able to give other mamas this book and encourage other who havenโt dealt with grief for years to pick it up

Not for the childless
I'm sure this book is helpful for many. But for those of us who have experienced loss and the answer is a permanent no, it's still hard to relate. I have no other children and my partner doesn't want to try again. This loss was the end. Nontraditional life feels excluded (not married, no children. A miracle came and went)

Helpful during processing loss
This is a great book. It really helped me while I was struggling after a miscarriage. It was uplifting and encouraging without being trite or trivial. It helped me process my emotions of sadness and anger, and enabled me to be hopeful for the future.
