Effective, but might not impress a picky dog.
Isn't he adorable? Yes, this is the Pugh pooch, subject of many reviews. He is a splendid canine and we of course want to make sure he doesn't have any unmentionables wriggling around in his gut. We used to buy the pills and, at first, he consumed them. Then he started objecting to these chalky tablets and we had to grind them up and put them in his food. And he soon caught on to that. So we have moved to flavoured tablets, the equivalent to that lovely strawberry medicine I used to have as an infant when I had tonsillitis. Once again, he quite liked the pork flavour and consumed it quite happily. Then, ever the conspiracy theorist, he realised that he was being medicated and sniffed the bone-shaped pill with suspicion. In other words, it is a fine product, but the idea that the Pork flavour will get it past the jaws of the more discerning pooch is hard to swallow (no pun attended). We've taken to hiding it in ham now and the dear canine is worm-free, which, considering the rubbish he manages to lick off the pavement, is quite a impressive. Very good value for money.

Straightforward worming tablets and easy enough to give
These are worming tablets for dogs up to 40kg, supplied in a pack of four, and I used them as part of my dogโs regular worming routine. The tablets were clearly packaged and the instructions were easy to follow, which matters with this sort of thing because guessing doses is not something I want to mess about with. My dog is not exactly thrilled by tablets, so I tucked one into a bit of food and he took it without much drama. No wrestling match, no suspicious spitting it out under the table, thankfully. The pack size is practical for keeping on hand, especially if you have a medium or larger dog and want something ready when their next treatment is due. I also liked that it is aimed at common UK intestinal worms, so it felt like a sensible everyday worming option rather than something overly complicated. My dog had no obvious upset afterwards and carried on as normal, which is exactly what I wanted. Overall, this was simple to use, fairly priced, and convenient to keep in the cupboard. I would buy it again for routine worming.

Made my dog very sick
Unfortunately made my dog puke alot. He was then very dosile for the rest of the day. Maybe I shouldn't have fed him a few hours after giving the tablet but it says on the packaging that it can be given with food. I can't really tell how effective it is for worms as I doubt there is any of it left inside him.

Not Too Big
We struggle to get our dog to eat any pills even wrapped in ham or cheese, he always manages to find them and spit them out. These however aren't super big, but they are small enough and you can easily split them into 4 additional sections that make it much smaller. Note if you are feeding them and they are spit out they start to break down pretty quickly, and become tacky. No smell to them even when they do become wet. Does a good job at keeping worms at bay, and when our dog was a pip, a lot of 'spaghetti' came out of him, so they do work well.

Seem OK
Only 4 stars as my dog didn't have worms in the first place. I brought these because I hadn't wormed her in some time. I checked her poop never saw any trace of worms just bits of carrots and peas!! Hahaba
