TomTom Motorcycle Handlebar Bike Mount Holder With Waterproof Case For 5-inch GPS Sat Nav

Fits onto my Honda CRF Rally 300 nicely. 5 inch Tom Tom fits in the case well. The bracket is plastic but feels sturdy enough. I tied a leash onto the zip on the case for a bit of peace of mind in case it comes off whilst riding but I'm not too worried.

A good product. Well made if a little bulky for most GPS units.

I purchased this item to allow me to use my TomTom Go 520 car sat nav on my Honda CRF250L dual sport bike whilst riding Green Lanes. I had planned to purchase a dedicated USB lead to connect to my bikes battery then to power the sat nav. When the case came I found that it was large enough and had various size foam inserts to carry a portable mobile phone charger battery pack and the sat nav. This way I don’t need to have to install a dedicated power lead to the bike if I choose not to. Installation was simple. Open the bracket around my handlebars (in my case) and tighten it up. On my first ride out, the sat nav was powered by the battery pack for the whole day (07:00 hrs – 15:00 hrs) and had only gone down 1 of the 4 bars. I fell off twice during the days ride and the mount was not affected at all. It rained slightly and no water had entered the case either. The case is rather large measuring 17 cm wide x 11.5 cm high and 7 cm deep (including the plastic mounting bracket on the rear). There is a rubber hole in the centre at the bottom of the case to allow for a USB power lead to be passed through. Attaching to the bikes mounts is seamlessly done via the quick mounting bracket which takes seconds to attach and remove. Using the sat nav is also very simple through the clear plastic screen on the front. At this price this case is a steal. For anyone who wants to use a Car sat nav instead of some of the very expensive bike sat nav’s this is perfect.

Got this so i could use my dad's unused, old tomtom on my bike as a speedometer and for directions as i kept getting speeding tickets on my bike for seemingly no reason because the speedo was inaccurate from having a bigger rear wheel than it's supposed to. I would have to mention the fact that waterproof is highly misleading as i'd say it's only really splash resistant. I accidentally left it out in the rain and the inside of the case had soaked up a lot of water, but thankfully my navigation device was completely fine, as it was pressed up away from the felt area where it had accumulated. The hole for the wire is probably one if the best features of this case as well as the amount if space inside. It has more than enough space to allow you to put a 12v socket and usb plug from a car inside and wire it in to your bike's battery with a small wiring job routed up behind the fairings to near the handlebars. It has handled heavy rain whilst riding but i'm sure it wouldnt last forever in those conditions. Does the job. Would probably only really recommend using it during the summer. Installing the mount onto the handlebars can be fiddly, but i did manage to do it in near darkness okay. You might have to rearrange the rubber grips on the mount itself. After that, it's pretty secure, just make sure you have the screw on pretty tight so it doesnt move when riding as well as the one on the ball joint.

Tom Tom Go 500 fits inside an absolute treat...until you attach the power lead and then then it’s too big for the case and if you do have the muscle to zip it up then the unit doesn’t fit squarely. Disappointed!

Bought this for my tomtom to fit on my motorcycle, looks well made and straight forward fitting .

I have a TomTom Start 25 i'm not using as the car has an integrated SatNav, so thought i would give this a go on my Vulcan Classic (VN900). the bike has 1inch handle bars and its a snug fit. ridden with it for about 20 miles, no movement, very little vibration, and thoroughly useful! I only gave it 4 stars as I believe the bracket feels a little flimsy, not sure i would trust it on a couple of hundred mile trek. I plan to add some sort of safety chain/clip just in case. it will be interesting to see how it holds up to repeatedly attaching/detaching the case from the bracket. but for the short trips its very good. there is plenty of room behind the TomTom inside the case to add a battery pack for extra power too, however that will bring extra weight which may affect how well it stays put. generally i am very happy, it's a bargain at this price, just don't expect the highest quality.

Muy correcto en sus medidas y la verdad funciona muy bien, Encaja mi viejo TomTom 52 y va de lujo en la moto. Lo que no puedo saber cuánto durará. Pero por el precio que tiene no hay que pensar mucho. Tampoco hay mucha oferta de sujeción al los TomTom para las motos.. Recomendable!

Hooked up to my motorcycle through a handlebar clamp. The case keeps my Garmin dry. It is, however, hard to see thru the panel in bright sunlight.
