The other doesn't whatsoever, but he also has extremely dry, flaky skin so maybe that has something to do with it.I've bought neem oil, and my dog hates it, I hate it, my house hates it. So I decided to give this ago. It's the first form of hard dog shampoo I've used. In the past 5 years I've spent into the thousands on their skin in terms of raw diet/other good food/supplements/antibiotics/vet appointments. I don't bat an eyelid as they are my dogs and I would never skimp on treatments for them.I've just finished drying them after their first wash with this shampoo, straight off the back, it smells like citronella. Lovely and citrusy, nothing like coconut, but that's ok for me.It applies like a bar of soap, lathers well once you get it going, what I did notice, maybe due to lack of suds like other shampoos, is the level of dirt it gets rid of. Pleasantly surprised. It felt quite filmy when rinsed off, kind of like soap on human skin. I feared it would be really horrible once dried.Much to my surprise, both dogs are lovely and soft, with exceptional looking coats, and as a bonus my dog with the dry skin seems to have a lot less flakes than normal. It might be coincidence, time will tell.As for harvest mites, hoping the neem in this deters them a bit more this summer/autumn. It smells lovely and really foams up well. It smells completely different once you've washed their coats with it, really lovely scent that lasts and leaves their coats beautifully clean and easy to manage. The only thing that lets it down is that the seller sent it out in a plastic mailing bag so even though the soap packaging itself is biodegradable, the packaging used to ship the product is not.
