Revell 03948 Suchoi Su-27 Flanker 1:144 Scale Unbuilt/Unpainted Plastic Model Kit

I chose this Revell kit because I was intrigued by the bizarre and challenging paint scheme. Irrespective of the paint job, I actually found the build to be quite difficult owing to the small and fiddly parts. This Revell kit comes with a skill level 3 rating, I believe it should be more like a 4 or 5. I still enjoyed constructing and painting the model which is very reasonably priced, however, I would not recommend this kit for beginners.

Great little model but be carefull as this is tiny compared to ones i am doing at the moment from airfix most being 1.72. Yes i did see the scale number but didn't understand what size it would be till it arrived . Still price and eveything was good

Great piece of kit my 15yr old loved making it and now wants to start collecting them.

The item arrived at the locker with a simple shipping label for protection, given that It's a plastic kit model I was concerned that it may have been broken in transit, but it had survived. This is a standard Revell kit at 1:144 scale, It's supplied in the usual way 2 plastic Spruces 1 clear plastic spruce and a decal sheet as well as instructions.The modelings them self are of a good quality though some parts need substantial cleaning to look presentable, the Front wheel is tight squeeze and bet fitted before attempting to connect the two leg components. Its also worth dry fitting the body assembly as some filling might be needed for a neat fit.Biggest disappointment for me is there was no cockpit detail on the model, presumably due to the way the body joins but there does appear to be mounting points within the cockpit are for this to happen.Paint is the usual Revell selection, mixing is required to achieve one of the colours but I don't bother with mixing as Revell seem to provide at least one colour each kit you have to mix and there is usually an equivalent from another supplier. But in a little over 5 hours with drying allowances kit should please most builders but is phraphs a little basic.That said for £5 on prime you cant really go wrong.

Great little mode and fantastic price! Bought as a gift during lockdown and will give plenty of hours fun to a friend who likes making models

Excellent detail on this particular kit, An interesting version of frontline russian flanker fighter/missile bomber. Recommended to model enthusiasts.

la maquette est conforme à l' annonce , elle fait 14cm de long et les détails plastiques sont bien ...moi qui débute dans les maquettes c'est trop cool ...attention tout de fois il faut ensuite la peinture qui n' est pas fourni avec mais tout est bien détaillé sur la boite

ottimo modellino molto dettagliato ,ma difficile da montare viste le piccole parti da assemblare anche se il montaggio è facilitato da punti di contatto fissi, è sicuramente rivolto a modellisti esperti.il risultato una volta finito è veramente bello ,da verniciare con aerografo.ottimo il prezzoconsigliato
